Bakunin is on page 50 of 304 of The Hard Thing About Hard Things: Building a Business When There Are No Easy Answers―Straight Talk on the Challenges of Entrepreneurship
His bio was less interesting but I feel inspired when reading his analysis of what is needed to be a good CEO.

Too much of a Victorian soap opera/thriller.

Koinophobica, n, the fear that you've lived an ordinary life.
Love it! Its refreshing to read something which tries to capture abstract feelings using neologisms. It makes me feel less alone, as if language paves a way towards a shared human experience.

Bakunin is on page 50 of 267 of The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business is Selling Less of More
Changed my perspective on mass production. Why bemoan the loss of mass culture when there are so many possibilities along the "long tail"? Today everyone can find their own niche tastes out there, whether its in music, film or books instead of being forced onto the mass entertainment bed of procrustes,

Not as good as I expected (giving my business companions praise). Still a little funny.

Bakunin
Bakunin is on page 200 of 624 of Augustus: First Emperor of Rome
A little too much emphasis on the military campaigns. Goldsworthy writes in a very objective way which sometimes hinders true understanding of who Augustus really was. I guess its hard to know seeing as how there aren't a lot of sources to rely on but I haven't yet gotten to know the person who became Caesar.

Fantastic! There is a lot I can relate to in these stories from the aging Strindberg. His use of language is really spectacular. Strindberg manages to capture aspects of life which have hitherto been inarticulated.

Bakunin is on page 70 of 256 of The Minimalist Entrepreneur: How Great Founders Do More with Less
Much better than I thought. It does provide encouragement as well as ideas for someone interested in bootstrapping a business. I like how common-sensical the author is. I also live this: creator first, entrepreneur second.

Well-written. Provides an overview of the time period while following the career of a critical person in the history of the Roman empire. I understand Roman society much better after reading this.

Inspiring read. I often feel trapped in life and am afraid of losing my creative side. Rubin leans into the spiritual side of life and lets one join him. He occasionally becomes too much of a hippie, but I guess that too is part of the charm of reading his thoughts.

Bakunin
Bakunin is on page 69 of 152 of The Dangerous Life and Ideas of Diogenes the Cynic
"Socrates gone mad" as Plato called the philosopher. He lived in a jar, broke social conventions and answered every attack with a good punchline. Although I wouldn't want to have him as a friend, his lifestory is very interesting. It also marks the start of cynicism as a philosophy which later led to the development of stoicism.

Bakunin is on page 110 of 352 of Super-Infinite: The Transformations of John Donne
Donne lived during a much more brutal period than the current one and the author manages to capture some of that here. One can really imagine what it was like to live during that tumultous time.
