I can understand some of the criticisms better now. Even though I am enjoying the read and the writer is fantastic. This is an incredible slow burn. The type of story that spends the whole book with the characters circling each other. I can see why some would think that's slow or boring.

Dandridge Monroe wasn't lying when she said this was a slow burn. I'm loving the rancher business backdrop, the Black American and Indigenous history references, love seeing generational Black wealth and power in a Cowboy Romance . Oooo cant forget the CowboyCarter references 🙌🏾
