I love smut like the next person but this book doesn't have communication & that is what makes it difficult to get through. This is a book of a lot of hot filthy smex. Discussions happen in clipped voices & short dialogue before, during & after the smex and that's exhausting. Just when I think we are going to get character depth we move into a another sex scene. So many pieces that I wish merged together more. I'm getting restless in the story even when I love fragments I won't love the whole.

I like it but the writing feels slow and methodical. It's hard to feel the passion.
