This is such a weird read…outside of his cringeworthy “dirty talk”, I like the H. Ignoring the bad sex scenes, I like the MCs relationship. If I overlook her Mary Sue-ness and 95% of the things that she says, there are moments the h isn’t the *worst* (can you feel the love?😆). Like there’s *just* enough to keep me reading …😅

Alrighty, I gotta know: is separating a human from their shifter animal when talking a common thing in this genre (e.g. “Bob wants a coke but oh my his wolf will die without a Pepsi”)? Bc “her wolf” is used 120+x in this thing and I was over it by chapter one.

The H has referred to the h’s mom/his stepmom as a bitch 10x now. Not cute. Calling a woman you dislike misogynistic slurs and trying to justify it with “well she’s bad or I don’t like her” is as kosher as trying to justify calling a poc you don’t like a racial slur. Just sayin.
