This is much less weird and creepy than I thought it would be. It's mostly just boring.

That was a really good twist - I genuinely didn't see that coming.

Also, that was maybe the saddest transition ever. We go straight from, "9/11 is about to happen" to, "9/11 isn't happening, but Germany won WWII".

THEY'RE GONNA KILL HITLER! At least, I think they are. The idea of it is exciting to me.

There is extremely little time devoted to character development. Which is disappointing, because it's otherwise pretty good.

Very fast-paced, almost rushed. But that's good in MG.

I'm reading this entirely for nostalgia purposes - I'm hoping it can be good in the same way the MG books I read in elementary school were. It certainly looks like the kind of thing I would've been into back then, but you never know.

This is an exceptionally good translation, I'll give the book that.

Some of the boys are kinda blending together. I mean, Benji is basically exactly what Fabian would be like if he were a stoner.

This isn't a very long book. The plot should've started by now.

I can't decide if this is really insightful, or just another novel about a teen girl with boy problems.

The translation is pretty good. As for the story... I suspect this is gonna be a weird one. But it certainly doesn't look bad, so we'll see.

I am enjoying this part, more than I thought I would. It's really improving from the beginning.

This is a really good ending. I thought I'd enjoy this book some, but I didn't think I'd enjoy it this much, in spite of the drawn-out beginning.

I'm getting the same feeling I got with She Loves You... She Loves You Not, that subtle feeling that something is unrealistic here, even though I can't put my finger on it.

You know there's a problem when you can't figure out whether the narrator is five or ten. Nick reads way older than he's supposed to.

This premise... well, it doesn't look very good, to be frank. But I've yet to read a book that really discusses having gay parents, so this'll be interesting, at least.

It occurs to me that the message here isn't as overtly anti-science as I initially suspected. Shelley minimizes it a little, but it's more about the many factors that lead to Frankenstien becoming a murderer. Much more interesting than I thought it would be.

This is a pretty good climax. I like it better than the rest of the book.

Man, it's really obvious what the twist is gonna be. *sighs* This is really boring.

I'm just now realizing how little I read of this book at a time. In this entire section I just read, it's nothing but Frankenstien going to London. And he's not even there yet.

I do not want to be around Laurel when she's drunk. That is quite dangerous.
