This is a lot more romance-oriented than before. Which is less interesting than when it was about Cass adjusting to a new planet.

As with last time, I have little idea what's going on, although it was actually worse last time. Still, Cass's voice is still good.

Meh. I'm not enjoying this the way I could be.

This could turn out to be really interesting. Or it might suck. That said, I hope this flashback to their childhood is just a one-time thing - I'm not sure how well it would work if it's interwoven with the main plot.

This writing... well, it could be better. Other than that, though, I think this will be pretty good.

Meh. I'm honestly just really bored by this.

This is kinda dull. It feels like Atwater-Rhodes is working from a formula, to an extent.

I like the multiple perspectives, although some of the characters are a little flat.

This is... alright. I have no idea how I can already be 20% of the way in, given what's happened so far.

I feel really sorry for Arbon now. You think you got it bad, Tobias? Wait 'til you see this! (Also, Chapman is an asshole.)

THIS IS FRICKIN' AWESOME! And yes, ever one of these status updates will start with an all-caps statement. It's mandatory.

Also, taxxons are gross.

Because now that I've finished the anime for Death Note, I need something else that's just really, really cool (looking).

I'm not sure if I've made this clear yet, so I'll do it now: this is one of the most ambitious and insightful books I've read in a long time. It's even better than The Knife of Never Letting Go.

There's a character named Captain Hammer. No commentary of the book shall continue until everyone takes a moment to appreciate this.

Todd's character development in this book is really interesting. I liked Viola better last time, but I think Todd is the more engaging protagonist out of the two.

On one hand, I wish Mayor Prentiss was a more 3D villain. On the other hand, the Answer is a really, really good villain protagonist, walking the line between revolutionaries and terrorists.

Dean is a scary, scary character. Anyway, that whole sequence was actually a pretty effective climax - from what I've heard, it's much better than the one Twilight got.

Language. It is difficult.

So, I'm going to be away for three weeks, in a summer camp that may or may not have internet. I did this camp last year, and I did have internet last year. But if, for whatever reason, I don't have internet this time, that's where I am - I'll be able to respond in three weeks.

Okay, now I'm getting a little lost. Man, it was a bad idea to assign this for summer reading.

That was a very, very well-written action sequence.

It's not that this is a bad book, but there's just so much potential, and I feel like it's being wasted.

I'm a little surprised by how well I'm following this, considering the language. Anyway, I don't have the religious knowledge to provide insight, but this is pretty good so far.

I feel like I'm spending the entire book just waiting for the good stuff to start. I keep on thinking, "Alright, now we're going to get the action/suspense."

I'm actually a bit behind schedule on this, meaning I'll have less time than I anticipated to read Dante's Inferno. Ah, well.

Putting aside the infodumps (which have become less frequent but not stopped), this is really good. Definitely fast-paced and suspenseful.

This ending is looking to be satisfying. It was an overall alright novel - it's not too memorable, but it's certainly not bad, either.

I'll admit that I never got one solid prediction as to who the mole was, although I was't blown away by the reveal. It could've been a better twist, but it also could've been a lot worse.

I say how much I want this book to be good. So of course it opens with a 30 page infodump. Great job there, Lunetta.
