oooooh here we go

Absolutely delightful, I'm so happy with this installment. Tbh I think this very well could have been the best book in the series but they're all good so it is hard to say that.

Good god girl the writing is on the wall!!!

Hmm... Some of the dialogue is really cheesy but the MC reads as tho she's more of a born and raised New Yorker (imho and I've lived here my whole life so) but she's originally from Atlanta and has only been living in NYC for a couple of months... I mean sure? She may have picked up on the vocab but like... idk if it hadn't been explicitly said in the text I would have thought she was local?

Hmm. I'm bias because I love the NY references. I'm a born and raised New Yorker so the references are doing it for me, *but* the book seems really fast paced so far and I fee like the book played it's hand a little too soon because by the second chapter we know we're in the Hotel California (NYC) if we're lucky alternatively we could just be in a pocket hell dimension which is a lot to give away this early.

I'm really liking this so far!

So... Okay. Hmm... I don't hate it, genuinely there are a lot of redeeming qualities about this book but my goodness... It's kind of rough, and don't get me wrong I like slow burns but it really shouldn't have started to take off by chapter 24.

I stg though the author should team up with Guillermo Del Toro because this would be such an AMAZING film and maybe some of the rougher areas would be cleaned up.

Hmm, it's a very mood driven book. I do like it but I don't think it'll be a favorite. I'm not sure if I'd continue the series yet or not
