It sort of makes me mad at myself that even when I get pissed off at romantic storylines there's still a part of me that goes "d'awww". Such a sucker.

The book was dragging a bit for me, but then the peril part of the title kicked in and I didn't want to stop reading. Gah - it's killing me! I'll probably finish tonight.

So the first 100 pages or so is just bringing all the characters back together and general set-up. I had a huge grin on my face pretty much the entire time. I love slipping back into this world with these characters and their easy camaraderie.

I find myself wondering if I was as slow on the uptake when I was 16... I like to think not but, then, who knows?

I've started reading this as a sort of true-crime type thing as opposed to a mystery story, and it seems to help.

I'm not sure what's frustrating me more at this point - the fact that there's a need for romance in all these books, or the fact that Tris is so thick (though I suppose I could say naive instead).

It's starting to pick-up some, which is good 'cause I have to admit I was worried I was gonna be bored to tears based on the first several chapters.

I'm not really sure what I think of it yet...

I feel like I'be been reading this forever.

Some definite wtf moments going on.

It's not bad as a UF, though while there's some dark humor it's not quite what I was expecting.

Just started this morning...

Occasional bits of humor, but mostly seems like wackiness for the sake of it. It's kind of crazy that you get more than halfway through the book before you meet the title character.

Well, it's picked up some...

Generally enjoying this, though I also kind of keep hoping for more lyricism or something. I really liked the bit with the dwarves.

It started as a potentially interesting glimpse into a mysterious culture, and seems to be devolving into a soap opera style story - "Bronwyn and her men" I'm hoping it becomes more than this again...

Starts off about 2 years after the last book. Haven't gotten very far, but I've already chuckled out loud a few times on the train - so it's all good. :)

Ya know, I'm kinda getting tired of the guys' constant need to try and shunt Kendra to the back to protect her. I'm sure it's because she's young and not 'cause she's the only girl on the mission... right?

I liked the Singing Sisters - they were funny... But they didn't sing, nor were they the buildup they got.

I like Patton. His message to Seth was really cool.

And the ever so convenient plot devices continue!
