Almost done 'Black Blood'. For most of the story I thought it was kinda meh - but I'm really enjoying the conversation between Sita and Yaksha (sp?) about Krishna/God and reincarnation and whatnot. I've never really agreed with the whole "reality is an illusion" thing, but I'm digging the sort of religious tones to the story.

The first chapter didn't exactly grab me, and I was a bit worried there for a second, but I'm on the 7th chapter now and it's definitely growing on me. I like that it's a sort of non-traditional protag, I really like the former exotic dancer character who defies all her stereotypes, and I'm liking the humor.

The story's pretty good so far, but some of the punctuation stuff is driving me bonkers. Periods where there should be commas, and vice versa, and more semi-colons than I've ever seen in my life, at least half of which don't seem to be used properly. Also one's curiosity and/or interest is piqued, not peaked.
