why did i pick this story out of all that i could have chosen? i would, no doubt, have a nightmare of me being a gigantic insect

idk why but i picture charlotte the same as that spider in undertale

the story's pacing is kind of slow for me

the start is kind of bland and not quite what i hoped for (maybe because i enjoyed the giver a lot) the only reason why i started this book is because i thought it's a sequel to the giver. now it seems like the author started a whole new different alternative civilization and characters which left me unanswered questions from the first book.

there has to be a reason why jude was sent to exile right? i feel like this is all misunderstanding in jude's part and lack of explanation in cardan's.

btw not the most regal way of announcing your wife as the queen of elfhame when one is all bloody and probably grimy

this book's climax for me is when nico confessed about his long supressed feelings to cupid and jason. fuck it threw me out of my bed I WANTED MORE

i think ledger is quite a jerk for being neutral between scott's parents and kenna. i agree to kenna that he only checks on her because he wanted to be clear of conscience. he watched kenna chase the car her daughter was on board but at the same time helped grace get away from her. well, i kind of understand that he's still conflicted MAKE UP YOUR MIND LEDGER
