Love this book!!! So. Fun. And. Wholesome. And has depth. While being light and funny?Only snag is it’s annoyed that an English woman living in England calls a car park a parking lot, reception/ primary school kindergarten and orders a basket of wedges in a pub rather than a bowl. Just could need some localisation I think.

The story is entertaining. Not enjoying these outdated expressions like "fat kid in a candy store" and "beaten by a girl". Shows a but of a lack in imagination imo. However it was written 8 years ago so I'll cut it a tiny bit of slack for time-of-writing context
