has anyone on here ever managed to get rid of ghost friend request notifications? google and help.goodreads aren’t being helpful and it’s been like this for 2 months now

This is really lovely! I wish I could just lock myself in a room and finish the entirety of season 1 and what is available of season 2 :) I’m really glad that in 2021 I managed to get rid of my prejudice against comics/cartoons/manga etc.

I read 70% in one sitting and then let it be for a while, I know that the problematic scene is about to come up so I’ll get back with a review concerning it soon. I don’t really feel like reviewing it but I feel like I should explain myself for the upcoming rating, as it might seem too high for some who know what the scene is about.. (Currently, it sits at a 3.5/4⭐️, but it’s definitely about to drop)

I pick this up when I don’t really feel like reading something else, it’s fun and interesting but not THAT great? For what it actually is, it’s fine i guess. Would love to read the filmmakers version as well

I don’t really know how much of this I’ve read so far of course, but I started it in january, had lots of fun with it and then forgot about it completely since I only have it in the pdf format.. Would love to go back and read some more but last time I seemed to end up in a dead end after exhausting every single choice in my storylines? So I’d have to find a new starting point somehow

I think I’ll take a small break from this because, even though I can’t wait to find out what happens next, I am (simply put) kinda out of it? I just can’t concentrate on the words for whatever reason and I’m reading it without really reading it which is a shame because I do want to pay close attention to it.. I hope I’ll be able to return to it asap, but I’d rather not rush and ruin such a beautiful read

I can’t really write this update and have the book actually show cause I’m not reading it right now but goddamn I just bought The Binding by Bridget Collins and I swear her books’ covers are out of this world it is so pretty and i’m in love thanks that is all

It’s been 84 years since Darcy last appeared and I really don’t care about the ~30(at least) pages dedicated to Mr Collins enough to push on with them, admittedly they’re a bit fun but please someone tell me it gets back to Lizzy/Darcy soon

Mostly, the ‘quality’ of the goodreads app brings me nothing but frustration, but then today I guess it glitched and it appeared that a certain review had 100-sth likes and 18446744073709551609 comments and the 9 was cut off :))) while it actually showed no comments on it whatsoever

this might seem to be overreacting but I’m digging this except for the somewhat violent/sexist/‘rapey’ parts of (inner/)dialogue on Simon’s part :// I’m sure this whole ‘I have to control myself otherwise I’m not responsible for what will happen next, she is’ bit might hit the spot for some but it’s just kinda creepy to me.. Its definitely a product of its time and that’s noticeable in many parts

I didn’t realise this volume wasn’t actually complete so I guess I’ll just have to keep looking out for updates on webtoon :/

In my last update I’d complained about reading this in pdf format because of my eyes being tired but guess what! Turns out I no longer have to worry about that since this book is certainly making sure that my eyes are never dry!

I’m really loving this but I already knew I would :) so glad I finally got to it after having it on my tbr for 4-5 months

I’m finally done with my exams so I can at last make up for all the books I didn’t read in order to study!! really excited to binge read (or at least try to) these next couple days

I’d only skimmed the book summary a while ago and had forgotten it so I kinda went into this blind and was pleasantly caught by surprise :) I absolutely love Neil Gaiman’s style and most of all his plots (the ‘I like your funny words, magic man’ line applies to each of the books I’ve read so far lol) which is why he’s become one of my auto-buy authors! I have yet to be disappointed by his storytelling

I really wish I’d had this in the physical format because I keep ‘avoiding’ it even though I really really want to finish it :/ always the case with pdf formats for me though, I’m extremely jealous of anyone who can easily read e-books and not get tired after 10 minutes

On one hand, I’m reading this ironically and to see for myself how bad it is. On the other hand, this series meant so much to one of my former best friends and it reminds me of her so it’s kinda dear to my heart :) I also really can’t focus on anything serious this month as it’s an especially stressful one so

i think I’ll just speed read the rest of this because I’ve started to despise the thought of continuing it :/ I was supposed to finish it by the end of february but I simply don’t find it enjoyable.. had high hopes for it and even though the concept is interesting the book sadly isn’t
