I've read a few books by this author. Most of the books I have read have been ok, but not something I would have read had I not received it for free in exchange for reviews.

I grabbed this on a whim, because the preview was so awesome. I cringed at paying this much for an indie author's book. Despite my reluctance, this book has been really been good. Slightly different premise than most books in this genre, and not terribly trope-ridden. It will be interesting to see if there is another book this good in the author.

About time the book has gotten better. We are into the action, had the first sex scene (tastefully done and not terribly graphic) which took a turn I did not see coming. The author did some great foreshadowing that I ignored, and took the story a direction that is a surprise. Desperately needs a better editor, as huge blocks of text, non-ending dialogue & poor formatting are a real deal breaker for a lot of readers.

Ok slogging through the beginning of this book. Still confused with the repeated "felt-defence", not sure if it's hostile textiles or a term for something in the author's world.

Fairly decent romance with no graphic sex. Relies completely on dialogue, external and internal conflict.

Ok, enough reading trash for a bit - time to expand my mind a little and see if I can't regain a few points of IQ I lost reading either another damned 50 Shades rip-off or SEAL romances. At the rate I've been reading romances my mind is a rabbity mush

I just want to smack the shit out of the two MCs and tell "just fuck already and get it over with."

Got through the first book, and it was decent enough for me to get the whole series. I am leery of reading gay romances, not because I am straight, but because most gay-romance writing authors (at least that I have read so far) shoot more for the erotic rather than the romance.

Oh fucking god, not another SEAL romance, I can feel my IQ lowering already.

I took a small break from the flood of free romances I receive for reviews. Gotta knock some of these damn romances out because my Kindle is flooded with them. I receive one or two of these damn romances a day.

Author needed a better developmental edit.

Oh just poke my eyes out now and save me the misery from reading another formulaic, trope-ridden romance.

Put down the YA SciFi for a bit.

I had forgotten how short the first book is. If published later, the publisher might have done this as one book rather than split into two books. At least now we are in the action.

I had forgotten how slow this book starts. If it was not for my familiarity with both the author and this book, I probably would have tossed it by now. Not an MSE book for sure, no one has gotten eaten, had sex, or ran afoul or another group.

This book has a lot more action than some of the previous Kresnov books. There is more backstory of Sandy's League war experiences as well. Lots of character development of the MC and more insight into what makes her tick.

This book started well with action right from the opening pages. Does bog down in the center a bit with too much political BS.

I so badly need a break from the deluge of romances I get for free in exchange for reviews.

I'll finish Killswitch today, so I've got the next Kresnov book lined up ready to read.

Damn another urban fantasy set in Seattle - I am a sucker for decent stories set where I live.

I had forgotten that the third Kresnov (her name should be Kresnova according to Russian female naming conventions) starts a little slow with a bunch of political stuff.
