Alright enough of the amateur hour Space Opera, time to read from one of the masters.

This is a significantly thicker book than the first book. Since I have purchased the later edition with the name change, it took me a moment to realize it was the same character just with a different first name. For a minute I thought it might have been a sister or something. Great action with not too much romance, although all good Space Opera has some romance in it.

This has been a surprisingly good series of books with an unusual, likeable MC who did everything correctly and still ended up getting hosed. Decent Space Opera with a decent back story and interesting cast of characters. MC is not too good at everything and screws up like everyone else.

I know this is mindless, ridiculous escapist harem Space Opera featuring Tony the Weretiger and his harem (as of where I am at now) of eight wives. Still fun, ridiculous reading with some humor - just check your brain at the door and make sure to tape down the "I Believe" button.

OK, so Adam looks like a buff Tony the Tiger; don't let the cover dissuade you from reading this series. Check your brain at the door, and just enjoy the ride. Pure escapist literature for fun, not life-changing. high-minded or socially-conscious reading material.

Oh thank God for some complicated, political, and violent Space Opera. I am about romanced-out. I love this series of books and this will be the second time through for me.

Ok so a tennis-themed romance. I appear to have gone from one romance subgenre to another - sports. This one is not so bad, at least the woman is near on par with the man on the tennis court. No damsel in distress. His family is a bunch of dicks, treating her as is she is a gold-digging ho.

This romance I got for free for a review is not too bad. Some good humor at the beginning and avoids a lot of the tropes these books usually follow.

This book started very slow - almost to the point that I was sure I was not buying the sequel. Now that we are into the action, and out of the world building, politics and other dressing it's getting interesting.

Surprised this is a halfway decent fiction story ruined by too much romance for my tastes.

Finally return to the Honor Harrington 'verse

Had enough of Romance and other trash, time to return to my true love - Space Opera. This author writes some very good SciFi, but sometime his political views can get a little preachy.

So this was a surprise impulse purchase. Not as much LitRPG as I expected. Starts a little slow, but gets better after the first 30 or so pages. Nice change from the ridiculous romances I keep getting for free for reviews.

I am so burnt out on romances that some ridiculous harem Space Opera with a weretiger that looks like a buff Tony the Tiger is just what I need.

This is a good partial rewrite and clean up of the previous posted book. Dialogue is better and less stilted and some glaring plot holes filled. I am still I am romanced out so time for some silly, harem Space Opera.
