Saw this book in a friend's feed. Looked interesting so I grabbed it. Some errors but not too bad for an indie author.

Thought I would read something else than Space Opera and harem LitRPG for a little bit. Something that might be of interest for my geofic writing.

Put this series down for a bit have to be in the mood for this serious of Space Opera with lots of politics.

So Beri appears to have disappeared from the coven household. As supposed Cerise's acolyte, she seems to have suddenly dropped from the story.

Well, I thought I knew who the Unraveler was, but I was a little off. Nice twist to the story when the real Unraveler is revealed. Good story so far with interesting twist on magic. Not too much LitRPG stuff that makes me skip pages in other books (caugh, caugh MSE, Cipriano) in this book which is nice.

Couldn't figure out why the premise of this book sounded so familiar. Then my lover reminded me that it is very similar to Magic Kingdom for Sale by Terry Brooks. Pretty good book even with a similar premise to another book. More graphic sex and violence than MKfS, but not too bad for a first book.

Damn job is interfering with my reading!

This first Fury book is nearly twice as large as the original. I like all of the background and a look at Alicia's early life.

I had forgotten the first Fury book started with a lot of backstory and politics. Now I am to where the action starts.

Almost get to finally read this book and complete the series (so far).

I forgot about the bear-cows and the spider-wolves from the last time I read this book.

Generally, I dislike LitRPG books. Grabbed this one on the recommendation of several others on Discord. Not too bad - not so much LitRPG crap that I am skipping pages (unlike an MSE book) with interesting characters. Wish it was a little lighter on the romance and heavier on the ass kicking, but oh well. I expected a quick read and am not disappointed in that regard.

Alright enough mushy stuff, back to military Space Opera.

Generally, I dislike LitRPG books, but thanks to a few friends I have found a few that are decent reads. I expected to hate the first book of this series and planned to eviscerate the book in my review. Too busy right now to catch up on my reviews. I am damn sure burnt out on romances though and giving any romance a wide berth for now.

Got my wish Taylor is back, but not in Alex's bed yet. I did dislike how Taylor treats Alex as her fall back fuckbuddy. I also dislike the failure of Taylor to commit to a relationship; seems she entered this new relationship with one foot already out the door. Good action and some interesting ways of dealing with someone summoning demons - toss him in the hole the demons are coming through = end of summoner.

Ok backstory start was brief and actually interesting. Action started quickly but bogged down a little with politics in Hell.

I like how the book starts with some backstory. Let's hope Kay is not going to drown us in backstory before the action starts.
