I'm reading this to fit a bingo challenge prompt of "cliche." So far, it fits, but I'm thoroughly entertained anyway.

It's finally starting to get interesting.

So far, I'm definitely intrigued.

Entertaining, but I think I liked Stewart more when I knew less about him.

Finally starting to pick up a bit.

I think I'd like this book a lot more if I hadn't just finished The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley. They both take place over New Year's, have very similar settings, and they both are filled with completely unlikable characters.

So far this is going really slowly. Sigh.

About what I expected from TJ Klune: a slow start, but definitely ramped up, just about every relationship is LGBTQ, and quirky, fun characters you both relate to and like and dislike all at the same time.

You can really tell this was written 20 years ago, dated by still entertaining.

Entertaining!!

I'm listening to the audio book and I definitely think this one would be better in print. Either it's been too long since I read the first installment, or all the names/places/animals are just too similar. I'm having a hard time keeping it all straight (and that doesn't usually happen with middle grade lit!)

I'm struggling with this one because I absolutely despise the main character and everything she does/thinks.

So far, totally mindless entertainment.

This story is a little heavier than I expected it to be. Not too much, I was just looking for something light and easy since it's middle grade. It's definitely tackling some hard issues! But, it's doing it well so far.

The language is atrocious, but Perry is so straight forward and honest, you can't help but like him.

I'm enjoying the world Butcher has created.

I forgot how much I enjoyed a good Dresden book, it's been awhile. :)

It's been so long since I read the last book, it's taking me a bit to remember who everyone is and what's going on...

Sanderson is a master.

Despite having lost a lot of my vocabulary from disuse, I'm enjoying reading this in French.

Surprisingly good for something written by a politician, of course, that's probably James Patterson more than Clinton, but who knows?

I'm listening to the audio of this one and the language is just getting to be too much. Ugh.

Fascinating.

At this point I'm still waiting for a murder to solve. Weird. But I'm enjoying it anyway.
