So far this book is just lovely.

Fascinating. Everyone, and I do actually mean everyone, should read this book. I'm going to need to reread it eventually to really take in the ideas.

Interesting story, but the descriptions are so wordy, I'm feeling bogged down!

So far it's exactly what I expected: typical teenage tropes.

I'm having a harder time getting into this one than I thought I would. I think it's because Sepetys' books are all heavy-themed and, at least the ones I've read, similarly themed (governmental oppression). I'm finding it depressing, which if fine, but hard when I'm in the mood for something lighter.
