Asma Angela Brodie Congratulations on the completion of your goal. How did you manage to read so many? I thought I did well completing a goal of thirty! :-))

message 5: by Sue (new)

Sue Thanks all.. actually I thought 70 was pretty low; last year I managed 90 and in previous years over 100. Some of them were quite short, too. I read quite fast and usually have 3-4 books on the go.

Asma Angela Brodie What are you reading right now? I'm tucking in to The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year.

message 7: by Sue (new)

Sue I'm currently re-reading an old teenage favourite 'Chalet School' for a bit of light fiction, the controversial 'Love Wins' by Rob Bell, working through 'A Novel in a Year' by Louise Doughty, and wading through 'Counselling and Helping' by Stephen Murgatroyd. Aiming for 100 books in 2014, so 8-9 per month.

Asma Angela Brodie Well done you. I've just finished The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year, and The Empire Writes Back, which I've been wading through quite stoically; now for some light-hearted autobiography reading with The Other Side of the Dale (Gervase Phinn)
