Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments ~ September “Takeover” Challenge ~
It is my birthday month, so I'm throwing my weight around and “taking over” the monthly challenge.

         descriptiondescriptiondescriptiondescriptiondescriptiondescriptiondescriptiondescriptiondescription

Yeah, this is what the computer did to me. There was no way to add 50 pounds and 10 years,
which I thought was quite nice. I could have added 20 years; but, I'm not that old.

                                                      description

Duration: September 1 - 30, 2012

Levels:
Going to the Party 1-3 books
Dancing All Night 4-7
Greeting the Sunrise 8-10
Ten of My Favorite Things.
• Favorite genres: Westerns, mysteries or romances. Read one, or one of all three.
• Books with dogs in them. I also like wolves and would take any book with one in it or
       has a wolf shapeshifter.
Hawt guy on the cover. **shrugs** What can I say?
Coffee ice cream - so any book with a cup of coffee or ice cream on the cover
       - or is the color of the shade of coffee you drink or the color of your favorite ice cream.
listopia: Espresso, Java, Coffee and YA Coffee Covers.
• My favorite color is blue. Read a book with a cover that is predominately blue. Check listopia!
Beautifully styled hair. Read a book that shows a perfect coiffed hair style on the cover.
Hats. Yup. Love them. Don't wear them often, but I love the look. Even if they cover up
a beautiful hairstyle, LOL! Read a book with a hat on the cover.
• I ♥ cookies. Read a book that somehow relates to cookies.
Cookie on the cover, in the title, or is the name of the protagonist. Or maybe they bake them?
• Read any book from my all-time-favorites bookshelf.
• Listen to any book on audio - my second favorite media delivery system, after the
“dead tree version” - give yourself a pat on the back. Or better yet... as I believe in
“free will”, pick a book of your choice. If audiobooks absolutely drive you up the
wall, and you can't conceive giving it another chance after referring to my list of
favorite narrators, then read it “old school” via paperback or hardback.

Lisa Kay's Favorite Narrators
Susan Ericksen
Robert Petkoff
Rosalyn Landor
Lorelei King
Angela Dawe
Khristine Hvam
Kate Reading
Anna Fields

Any book on audio will do. Just thought I'd list my favorite narrators in case you wanted suggestions.

I searched Listopia for keyword "cookie" and found a bunch with cookies in the title or on the cover. I haven't tried the coffee/ice cream item, but I assume it would be the same.

• Hats. Yup. Love them. Don't wear them often, but I love the look. Even if they cover up a beautiful hairstyle, LOL! Read a book with a hat on the cover.

• I ♥ cookies. Read a book that somehow relates to cookies. Cookie on the cover, in the title, or is the name of the protagonist. Or maybe they bake them?

• Read any book from my all-time-favorites bookshelf.
(My possibles: Amazon Lily, Surrender, Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie, Comanche Moon, Flowers from the Storm)

• Listen to any book on audio Daughter of Smoke and Bone Finished 9/27/12. With one of Lisa Kay's favorite narrators!
