Can you imagine? That would be such a riot. A Fanyon cruise! :-D

(And me probably seasick the whole time, knowing me!) :-D

I thought we had a Fanyon-meeting in New Zealand first? Maybe an Alaskan Fanyon cruise via Iceland to New Zealand? ;-)) "

That's right. You all should definitely come to New Zealand! I missed my moving-in help the other day...where were you guys? ;) I even found the martini glasses without too much trouble. :)

What a great picture, Calathea! I love all those post-its with page numbers on them. And good to know the bookmarks were handy! :-)

Reggie Those pics are LOVELY.
I love the well used one of Calathea's. Perhaps she is hoping it will 'become real'?!

I recently come home from vacation myself, so I am just getting to these. I am so enjoying everyone's pictures and stories.

I love couch traveling.

Hugs to you all. Thanks for sharing!

Wow. Working out the pathways and making them happen digitally must have been so difficult. Congratulations, Calathea!

Antonella | 11568 comments It took me a while to find the instructions for posting pictures. I know we already had it here on the topic, but I couldn't find it. To help other beginners in the future, here the photo instructions from the general m/m thread:

Antonella | 11568 comments This is me on the Greenwich Meridian Line, with one foot in the West and one foot in the East and with Everything I Know ;-). The photo was taken by Jordan. We spent a lovely day in Greenwich. Absolutely recommended if you are in London, lots of things to see and lots of green, the boat trip is also great.

Calathea | 6034 comments Great photo! Remember that I was there with Lilli last year? We didn't manage to take a photo at the fancy metal-installment (so many tourists! including us^^) but only at marking the stone wall behinde the fence. ;-)

Calathea | 6034 comments Antonella wrote: "Well, we had to queue for 5-10 minutes."

For us it would have been more like half an hour... with some lively groups of younger children in the burning sun. I was glad to see in Jordan's photos that Greenwich is back to green. Last year around that time it was burned to dust by the sun, barely any green left. It was so hot that I used my umbrella there was no shade to walk in.

Ehmm... I had already admitted defeat in an ETA note because the chosen solution didn't seem to work when I noticed that one of the links in photobucket under ''Links to share this photo'' is called ''Direct''...

Prepare yourself to be swamped by my pictures ;-).

Nice, Antonella! And thank you for posting the photo instructions! I know people have posted instructions before, and I've never been able to find them again--so I will study these and we'll see what happens, for I do have some photos to post. :)

Alison | 4756 comments Okay, let's see if this works! This is not New Zealand. Here's a photo from a while back (last year sometime--I only recently uploaded stuff from a camera I don't use much.) This is in Zion National Park in southern Utah, one of my favourite spots. It's an amazing landscape full of big beautiful holes in the ground, like the one in the picture, which is Zion Canyon itself. I forgot to take my Kindle out of my backpack when I went for a hike, so I took a photo at the top for you all (and read a bit while I ate my lunch under a tree). I do love standing at the top of two thousand foot cliffs.

Oh wow, Alison! I didn't know you have scenery like this in Utah! I've only visited Salt Lake City and it didn't look like this. :-) But when I googled Zion National Park I realized it's not far from Grand Canyon. A wonderful photo — thank you for sharing!

Wouldn't it be fun to have all the photos in this thread made into a book one day? It would make a lovely coffee table book, wouldn't it! :-)

It could be one of those photo album books you can create on internet and we'd send one of them to Josh, of course. Hmmm... maybe next Christmas? ;-)

(Although I don't know if that's something we can do due to the copyrights of the photos. But, the idea is tempting.)

One of your usual good ideas!

I doubt that anybody of us would give a damn about copyrights.

Or did you mean a copyright of the places? I've just recently discovered there is such a thing for some places. At first I couldn't believe it!

No, I only meant copyrights to the photos (the persons who have taken the photos). Yeah, I agree with you. I don't think anyone would object to the idea if we'd make a book out of them for Josh — but I've become very careful about these things since I have to take them into account everyday in my work. (ETA: Maybe too cautious, even?) :-)

It sounds like a very neat idea, but would involve a lot of work for those who did it. Most people here wouldn't care about copyrights I would think, since the photos were posted here for the enjoyment of the group anyway. Now, if you were to sell the book on the market, that would probably be a different cup of tea. :)

This is totally doable graphically. I'd be happy to help (adjusting exposure and/or sizing photos, etc.) Here's a link to the iPhoto/Apple options: http://www.apple.com/mac/print-products/

That is easy to share and edit if copyright questions arise
