I love the Moomins! :-) Cute.

Cool! It will be interesting to revisit these.

Well, Swift had to do the classical tour, Charles Bridge and Castle Hill:

For Connor I searched for something to do with kids and come up with the television tower in Zizkov. A czech artist did those toddlers climbing up the tower and I thought it would keep Connor on his tows :-))

Thank you so much for sharing these, Varecia! It looks like Swift had a WONDERFUL time with you!
That was 'so Swift' to want to take the classical tour. ;-)

I know what you mean, but not this time - it is now part of the castle-tour, which means you need a ticket just to enter the small lane and it is closed early in the morning and during the nights. Well...
But I used to do my own Kafka-tours, from the house he was born to his school, the Assurance company he worked for and at last to Olsany cemetery, where he is buried. That made for interesting travel through various parts of town :-)

Me too I love the town. In fact I've got a standing invitation for Prague, I should just find the time to go back...

:-)
Well, it was only 50% for Josh, the other 50% was for my daughter - she wanted to take part in a contest about the best holiday-picture with our "hometown fair-trade chocolate" on it and choose one special statue on Charles Bridge for the foto. So we made a deal, I took that picture and she in turn held the ebook-reader for me, otherwise it would have ended in the Vltava, I'm sure!

Thank you, Calathea - and don't get me started on the history :-))

What an admission to make, Antonella! not even for Josh...

I know I risk to be stripped of my platinum badge, but I'm can't avoid being honest.

I wish I was as well-traveled as my books!

Lovely! You'd better do an inventory of your Josh books before she leaves in case some of those pretty paperbacks decide that they want a photo-opportunity in Oslo...

This particular book has a disposition for travelling. It came from the US via Germany to Finland, so Norway would only be small step... :-D

What a happy scene. :)"
I was happy :). I have never been so pampered since I was a child, I think. Good food, chocolate, a blanket, Josh's books, discussions about books and authors we love, friendship and laughter. I will never forget this weekend :)

That happiness shows in the picture, very much so! Wonderful! :-)

Great! Although I knew - from experience - it would happen ;-).

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend together, Anne and Johanna (and Petri). So lovely. :)
We did have a lot of fun (and a lot of chocolate). :-D I'll have such fond memories of our visitors from this summer!!! :-)

Depends on your reaction to chocolate, mine is that I stop breathing, never saw the fun in that :(

I can see that, too bad.
I think this photo goes well on this topic. I'm a happy owner of an Adrien English scarf! Yes, you heard right. ;-) Anne had knitted this scarf while listening to her Adrien English audio books. Now there is a scarf that must have a wide range of emotions knitted in it! :-)
I thought you guys might enjoy seeing this. :-)

Thank you for sharing! My compliments to you as a proud owner and to Anne as maker of this beautiful scarf!

Beautiful! I'm sure the emotions will have been knitted into the scarf, as you say. Congratulations to you and to Anne.

LOL!
Don't forget the emotion "friendship" that is also knitted into it :)
Thanks people. *blushing now*
