PattyMacDotComma | 818 comments Not as mysterious as I'd hoped, but anyone who's taught or had kids in primary school will recognise the school/family dynamics in The Teacher's Secret by Aussie author Suzanne Leal.

Icewineanne | 158 comments Finished Still Life by Louise Penny Louise Penny

I've had this book on my shelves for ages. When I found out that Louise Penny will be the Canadian guest of honour at Bouchercon this year (in Toronto yeay!), i knew that i finally had to buckle down and read it before meeting her. A fun & puzzling mystery.

Li'l Owl | 1064 comments Currently reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (year 4)

A bit of background to set the scene:
All heck broke out after the Weasley's, Harry, and Hermione went to a World Cup Quidditch game. People are sending Howlers to the Ministry of Magic.

"Why are they sending Howlers?" asked Ginny.
"Complaining about security at the World Cup," said Percy.
"They want compensation for their ruined properly. Mundungus Fletcher's put in a claim for a twelve-bedroomed tent with an en-suite Jacuzzi, but I've got his number. I know for a fact he was sleeping under a cloak propped up on sticks."

Honestly, you just can't go wrong with HP for hilarious entertainment!
