Next up Audio book 2nd Chance by James Patterson & Maxine Paetro
This is pretty cool. I've strayed from my usual noir (supernatural/thriller/crime) to this one and I'll probably be finished this weekend.
It's a great combo of Indiana Jones meets The Mummy meets Tomb Raider with maybe a hint of Bourne Identity.
A very easy read for those not usually into this kind of thing (such as myself).

Just Evil by Vickie McKeehan which is good but not great so I'm putting it on hold for now.I've really been wanting to read
The Wild Inside by Christine Carbo so I'm reading it now.

Just finished The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler.I read some Chandler a long time ago, probably in the 80's. What hit me this time, which I don't remember noticing so much back then, was the casual racism, homophobia and misogyny in both the dialogue and the descriptions. We have come a long way!
That said, I enjoyed this one as a good example of its time and genre. 3 stars.
Just read this chicklitty mystery. The Golden Hour by T. Greenwood.

Well, it's okay, Brenda, but it's about 50% romance which doesn't have much to do with the murder mystery part so far. I've only gotten half way through so it may prove more important further in. Also, I'm not a big fan of romance so take my opinion with a grain of salt! =o)

Ahhh I think it's supposed to be Romantic Suspense - but it sounds like it's a little heavy on the Romance! I prefer it the opposite way :)
