Carolyn | 2090 comments My review for The Stranger Inside by Jennifer Jaynes 3★, one I didn't enjoy as much as many others who gave it 5 ★ so you should make up your own mind!

Carolyn | 2090 comments If you like historical true crime you might want to have a look at Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann, an investigation into the killing of Osage Indians for their oil rights in the 1920s.

Kerri_M | 785 comments Just finished two:

Echoes in Death (In Death, #44) by J.D. Robb - usual reliable Dallas 4★

and

The Girl In The Ice (Detective Erika Foster, #1) by Robert Bryndza by Robert Bryndza. Didn't like it. Poor dialogue, didn't believe in any of the characters, paint by numbers ★

Well done Owl! And I loved this book too - and the cover :)

message 3023: by Li'l Owl (new)

Li'l Owl | 1064 comments The cover is really nice! I'm just starting to get back to reading. I can sooo easily get lost in books and I just love that about them.
It seems so strange without my mom. I talked to her a lot about all kinds of stuff and I'll think 'I will tell mom...... " then remember that I can't anymore.
I'll sure be glad when Mother's Day is over for this year.

The Ice Beneath Her by Camilla Grebe The Ice Beneath Her by Swedish author Camilla Grebe I've been anticipating reading this since it came in the mail several months ago. I'm really hoping to find a frozen lake in it for my scavenger hunt! =o)

I was/am enjoying Dark Heart (A Cooper & Quinn Mystery, #1) by Catherine Lee Dark Heart by Catherine Lee but have had to put it aside for a little bit. I'm having trouble with headaches and ebooks at the moment. I'm thinking it's only temporary and I'll be good to go with it soon. =o)

Might not be a thriller, but it's certainly a horror story!

Kerri_M | 785 comments A big thank you to Icewineanne because I pinched this book off her Autumn Challenge list, I needed a Sheriff, and liked the sound of it.

The Sea Detective by Mark Douglas-Home

Loved it, have read a few books involving the scottish isles in the last couple of years (Peter May mainly) and this was a good addition. Multi strands of storylines handled well. Will definitely read the next one (this was first in series). ★★★★
