Cold Fear is about parents worst nightmare kidnapping of a child. Macy Donovan thought that she is finally finding happiness. However, this was not the case when her daughter Faith Donovan went missing, and Macy was left beaten and in shock. The kidnapping of Faith changes Macy life forever. Readers of Cole Fear will go on a rollercoaster ride following Macy quest to find Faith and the blossoming romance between Jack and Macy.

Readers of Cold Fear will learn not to give up on someone you love. Also, readers of Cold Fear will be pleased with the ending of this book. I enjoy the way Suzanne Brandyn keeps the reader's glued to their chair to find out what happens to Macy and Faith. Readers of Cold Fear will also enjoy Suzanne Brandyn portrayal of her characters.

Readers of Cold Fear will learn about the problems of older children in the foster system in Australia. Reading Cold Fear, you will learn about how hard it is for parents of missing children to handle the grief and the guilt.

Macy Donovan woke up, disorientated but aware something wasn’t right. Quietly moving toward her two year old daughter Faith’s room, she was horrified to discover the darkened image of a man in front of Faith's door. The feel of intense pain was the last she remembered until she regained consciousness; then the nightmare really began – her beautiful daughter was missing; there was absolutely no sign of her anywhere.

As the days turned into weeks, the police were baffled by Faith’s disappearance – no leads had come their way. Macy was doing all she could to find her daughter, but to no avail. Deciding she would heed the advice of friends and colleagues, she and friend Rebecca headed for Macy’s secluded cabin in the Hunter Valley to rest and regain her energy so she could continue her search.

But the arrival at her cabin was fraught with danger – suddenly her worst nightmares only intensified. What was happening? Would she ever see Faith again? The terror she felt gained momentum until she could feel nothing else – but she must stay strong for Faith. Could she?

The gripping nature of this thriller was extremely intense! The horror of having your daughter kidnapped would have to strike a cold fear in everyone’s heart! I enjoyed the story, the plot was well done. My only issue was minor editing problems, but they didn’t take away the enjoyment of a good thriller. This is Aussie author Suzanne Brandyn’s second thriller, and I would recommend her to all thriller lovers.

The action of Cold Fear by Suzanne Brandyn begins right away and doesn't end until the last page of the book. Macy Donavan is on the hunt to find the person who kidnapped her daughter from her bed because the police are not working hard enough to help. Faced with the impossible concept that she must start to live her life without her daughter, Macy never gives up hope. How does a mother begin to get back into daily living when her child isn't safely tucked in her arms?

I enjoyed the fast-pace of this book, the bumps and hurdles the main character went through, and the twists of surprise that left me talking to my screen as I scrolled to the next chapter. Suzanne Brandyn held me with this book all the way through, and kept me on the edge of my seat until the final word. I love a book that can make me feel for the characters and get me involved in the plot. I am happy to recommend this book for those that want an adventure, some mystery, and a plot that blasts off from the first sentence.

Very exciting and well written. Plenty of shockers, twists and turns. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a 5 star rating is there were a few too many "don't go into that dark basement alone" moments. Some of the actions of the characters were a little far fetched. I would have liked to get to know the love interest a little better. I would recommend this book, it is a scary read.

This is a suspenseful story, one that I couldn't put it down. I think I was one of the first to download it and read it until the late hours of the morning.
Macy Donovan is a strong character who won't give up on searching for her child. Even at the cabin when she meets the ??? (I won't give it away spoiler) she'll do anything to get her daughter back.
With a little romance, it was sweet. I loved the hero, Jack. He was such a darling and infatuated with Macy.
I loved the setting, and I wasn't sure how it was going to end. A few sad things happen along the way but all in all an emotional journey that women will relate to if it ever happened to them with a good ending.
A well written story. I loved it and can't wait to read another from this author.

I am in love with this author's voice. She has an amazing ability to capture words and put me right in the heart of the story.

This is the story of a single mom whose young daughter is abducted. From the first pages you are thrust into an anxiety producing story that is terrifying and suspenseful. You literally are on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.
