5★ for Heavenfield: A DCI Ryan Mystery by L.J. Ross.

I thoroughly enjoyed #3 in the DCI Ryan series. The Circle is a creepy bunch of satanists with members in all sorts of places, and they go around murdering people and now each other. Good fun in a nice setting with good people.

Petrocelli by John Rachel
is a real eye opener on the problem of human trafficking and prostitution. There is violence, explicit language and sexual references so maybe not for everyone but the author manages to throw a bit of humour in as well.
