Searching for a Sci-Fi Romance read.

Tiger of Talmare is a short Novella, but its free on amazon kindle right now and I quite enjoyed reading it.
The League series by Sherrilyn Kenyon are not (ever *sigh*) on sale but are some of my favorite Sci-Fi romance ever.

Brides of the Kindred:

The League:

I've also heard good things about Angela Knight's Warrior and Linnea Sinclair's Dock Five Universe, the first being Gabriel's Ghost. Both are on my tbr pile.
I'll be stalking this thread now, hoping for some more recs myself.

And more Epic and recent, this series:

Science fiction genre in that is alien world but does read more of fantasy genre and almost enough romance for soap opera.

Try Song of Scarabaeus, Shards of Honour, or Gabriel's Ghost. They are well-loved by fans of the genre.

I just finished Shards of Darkness and Barrayar, so good.

I fell in love with Aral, LOL.

What about The Beastmaster series by Andre Norton? The first 2 books are strickly action/adventure, but books 3 and 4 are definately romance. First book Beastmaster, then Lord of Thunder, then Beastmaster's Ark and finally Beastmaster's Circus. There is a 5th book--Beastmaster's Search, but its NOT a romance. (Sorry, my GR is acting up and won't let me link anything.)
A semi-sci-fi is the 2176 series. The Legend of Banzai Maguire by Susan Grant (#1), The Shadow Runners by Liz Maverick (#2), The Power of Two by Patti O'Shea (#3), Days of Fire by Kathleen Nance (#4) and The Scarlet Empress by Susan Grant (#5). Yes, 4 different authors, but its all set in the same world.
Susan Grant has 2 other sci-fi series. Since my links aren't working, I'll just leave it at her name.

Ghost in the Machine is a newly published SFR that is going to be a series
Ghost in the Machine

Dominion Ascension

I've read the first two and really enjoyed them. Love Lauren Dane's writing.
The other series that is more futuristic with romance playing a small part it's more a mystery series is J. D. Robb's (Nora Roberts) In Death series.
I have read most there is alot about 40 or so but they are well written and I really like the characters. Eve and Roarke are great along with alot of the secondary characters, but they are definitely a mystery series before it's a romance.

And Alana, I have the first Joss Ware book but didn't realize it was Sci-fi romance.

Hey Merinda - I just wanted to let you know that my book happens to be a sci fi romance that I'm running a Kindle Select promotion on. Today is the last day to download it for free. Normal price is $3.99. It's currently ranked #2 in Erotica and #5 in Fantasy & Futuristic Romance in the Kindle store. Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/Close-Liaisons-.... Reviews, tags, and "likes" very much appreciated :).

Its called Catalyst. I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for it, and I actually think its better than Only Human, and it can be read as a stand alone:

You can read the first 4 chapters of my SFR/Space Opera, Ghost in the Machine, on Amazon

For those of you who missed it first time around, The Fallen, will be available to download free on 26th and 27th Dec & the reviews have been pretty good so far!

A post-apocalyptic journey across three continents, The Fallen explores how far we would go to protect the ones we love.
When a wave of energy from deep space passes over the Earth, human memory is erased and technology destroyed. With humanity reduced to a state of nature, Tim finds himself in Africa, separated from his wife by unimaginable distance. Meanwhile, two young scientists in America try to escape the chaos, seeking answers and safety.
Will they find what they are looking for, or will they succumb to The Fallen?

'A modern science fiction adventure in the tradition of 28 Days Later, War of the Worlds and The Road.'

Here's my 5 star review on "Under by Treaty" from Kayla Stonor: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Basically, a man who is a general on earth, who's been fighting against a humanoid-alien invasion force for several years, is forced into a position where he must submit to the enemy to save Earth.
The indecent proposal comes from an alien ambassador badass chick, smoking hot Domme with wicked combat skills. She signs a treaty with Earth on the condition that the general submits to a "joining" with the Alien queen. If he is unsuccessful at submitting voluntarily, the treaty is broken and Earth will be stomped by a superior invasion force.
The story is a harsh erotic romance tale of an Alpha male who is forced/willingly submits to his captor to save planet earth.
IT IS VERY INTENSE.
I enjoyed it, even though I am a guy, and it's harsh reading for a guy. FEMDOM.
