Connie | 5 comments IT IS VERY INTENSE.
I enjoyed it, even though I am a guy, and it's harsh reading for a guy. FEMDOM.
Check it out:

Well? What the heck is the Title?

Sorry, Goodreads locked me out last night! They have something about putting your birthdate in your profile for 18+ restricted groups. I couldn't edit the post to add the last info.

Under By Treaty by Kayla Stonor

I posted about this once before, and basically forgot.

*sheepish grin*

No Words Alone (Spark, #1) by Autumn Dawn is a good sci-fi romance read also. I think it's by far the best book of the 3 (is a short series). There's not a lot of graphic sex & no BDSM though there are sex scenes. From your description of Under the Treaty, it sounds much more tame in comparison lol. I still enjoyed the book though. The other 2 books in the series were okay but I'd only give them about 2 stars compared to this one.

Love her Alien Huntress series, plus the League Series both are great reads. I managed to find them at the Library so they were free.

C.E. Kilgore (cekilgore) I have a Sci-Fi Romance Book List here on Goodreads:
http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

It has 57 books on it so far and is growing all the time. Please feel free to friend me, too - I am always looking for new people to discuss the books I'm reading with :)

There is also a SFR challenge group (we get together and challenge each other/ourselves to read as many SFR books as possible and discuss them) on Goodreads:
http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/2...

message 60: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth Corrigan (elizabethrcorrigan) If someone is still looking for sci-fi with a romance subplot, I recommend Artificial Absolutes. It's a space opera that's more about the people than the saving of the galaxy, and the main character is a girl. :-)

message 61: by Jenny (new)

Jenny | 114 comments It's not exactly scifi but it is set in another world.
Lauren Dane's Federation
Undercover (Federation Chronicles, #1) by Lauren Dane Relentless (Federation Chronicles, #2) by Lauren Dane Insatiable (Federation Chronicles, #3; Phantom Corps, #1) by Lauren Dane Mesmerized (Phantom Corps, #2) by Lauren Dane Captivated (Phantom Corps, #3) by Lauren Dane
I haven't finished the series but what I have read I have enjoyed.

If you're still looking for inexpensive SFR, I recently launched a new feature on my blog: sci-fi romances for 99 cents or less. Currently there are 20 free titles and 18 for 99 cents. (In the interest of full disclosure, 3 of the free ones are by me.)

I highly recommend Close Liaisons, Volume 1 of the Krinar Chronicles, by Anna Zaires. It begins the turbulent, erotic relationship between Mia, a shy college student, and Korum, one of the Krinar, a highly-advanced race from a distant galaxy that rule the earth in the near future. It is set against a backdrop of intrigue in New York City as a group of rebels attempt to mount a resistance. It's filled with hot sex, compelling characters, and an engaging storyline! The Kindle edition is free on Amazon (at time of posting. Check it out!

How about Ann Aguirre's newer sci-fi series, The Dred Chronicles? (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called). The first book, Perdition, was amazing and I'm just starting on the second now.

Perdition (Dred Chronicles, #1) by Ann Aguirre

I also really liked Caught In Amber by Cathy Pegau. I remember there being a pretty good buzz about this one a year or two ago.

If you’re into things like lucid dreaming, astral travel/OBEs, near death experience (NDEs), altered states of consciousness, soulmates, true love or the true nature of “reality” this screenplay, QUANTUM DREAMS is for you. Check out the free sample to see if it piques your interest! It’s only available for iPad/tablet or computer (or phone if you have great eyes!.) Because of the screenplay formatting, it’s not available on Kindle devices. A print version will be out soon.

message 88: by Cheesecake (new)

Cheesecake two series by Michelle Diener, the Verdant String series that's high octane action with strange archeological remains and lots of intrigue. Breakaway (Verdant String, #1) by Michelle Diener (there's a prequel to the series as well), and The Class 5 series Dark Horse (Class 5, #1) by Michelle Diener (forgive the tacky book covers) that's a bit less action packed but has just as much intrigue and uses that old trope of women abducted by aliens trope. All these are on KU.

the book that started my love for SciFi and SciFi Romance was Merchanter's Luck (The Company Wars, #2) by C.J. Cherryh which would be in most libraries. I think if you want the ebook you need to get Alliance Space Merchanter's Luck and Forty Thousand in Gehenna (Company Wars #2)(The Era of Rapprochement #2) by C.J. Cherryh to read it, but the other stories are really good too.
