message 155: by Miralee (new)

Miralee | 7 comments I just finished Hidden in Dreams by Davis Bunn. I didn't read the first one that came before it, but it really didn't matter. I didn't feel like I missed anything & this was a complete story by itself. I LOVED it. And if any of you want a chance to get a free copy, his publisher is doing a drawing on from people who leave a comment on my blog. I hope that's ok to post here? If not, please forgive me! But I REALLY enjoyed this book and would love to see one of you get a copy.

My addy (in case you're interested) is
http://www.miraleeferrell.com, then click on the blog link to take you directly there. Be sure you read the rules and don't just leave a comment as there's a question you have to answer (not related to reading the story, just generic).

Thanks everyone!

Diane U (djuseless) Ackkk! I have so many books that I want to read right now and not enough time to do it. I'm definitely moving Short-Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer up on my list now. I've heard so many wonderful things about it! I loved A Tailor-Made Bride by Karen Witemeyer so I am anxious to read more from you Karen!

I am reading Ella's Wish (Little Valley, #2) by Jerry S. Eicher now. Then I want to finish the series with Ella Finds Love Again by Jerry S. Eicher . I have to read The Quilter's Apprentice (Elm Creek Quilts, #1) by Jennifer Chiaverini before 9/6 for my neighborhood bookclub. But I want to start reading Redemption by Karen Kingsbury and the rest of the series. I discovered Ted Dekker this week and bought Thr3e by Ted Dekker , House by Ted Dekker and BoneMan's Daughters by Ted Dekker . Do you now see my dilema??? LOL!

Abigail Mitchell (abbymit) | 177 comments Now I am reading "Facing The Giants" Facing the Giants by Eric Wilson What doesn't help though is that I have seen the movie a lot of times and I just keep hearing the Actors voices and picturing scenes from the movie, instead of using my own Imagination as I do with other books.

My favorite author of all times - C. S. Lewis. It's not fiction, but "Mere Christianity" is a classic. Worth checking into if you haven't already read it.

They are read-alone books but it is a series which starts with Charlotte Figg Takes Over Paradise. Start with that one. Wonderful, wonderful books.
