I'm a retired teacher turned author and live with my husband in Alabama. I began writing in January 2010 while sailing down the freeway in our RV. To date I have 4 books with Desert Breeze Publishing and one with WhiteFire Publishing. My novella Red and the Wolf based on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood came out in March 2014. I love to tell stories of flawed character who overcome the struggles in their lives by God's power and His Word.

When I wrote the Almond Tree series, I self published the first three books then had the fourth, Almond Street Mission, ready to publish. About that time, I had opportunity to join Forget Me Not Romance, a division of Winged Publication, with editor Cynthia Hickey. So Almond Street Mission went to her. Since I hadn't published the other books with her, I didn't include it in the series. I know that sounds confusing. That's the last book in the series, but I have another series with Cynthia: the Woodlyn Series. This one takes place in the Pacific Northwest and the characters return to the next book along with the addition of new characters. If you enjoyed the Almond Tree Series, you might enjoy this one. Take a look at my blog and check out my books. The series is listed there as well as my latest, A Home for Fritz, based on a real dog we met up with last summer.

However, if I could go to a fictional book world, I would make it one set in Israel. I would love to tour the land where Jesus once walked. (less)

I’m so excited this month. My neighbor and devotion writer, Marina Bromley, has offered to share some of her thoughts, experiences, and devotionals she’s written. In fact, I’m pretty sure some she wrote especially for my blog. What a blessing. Thank you, Marina and welcome.
The first talks about being a neighbor. How appropriate as she lives directly across the street. But I’ll let her tell you.... Read more of this blog post »
