Wow! You have a massive TRB pile! I enjoyed browsing through it. I did have difficulty limiting myself to one from each category, so I didn't. There's multiple books to pick from for e..."
Hi Amy. I know, my TBR list is out of control!
Thanks for the great recs. This is always a hard decision for me. I think I will read Bossypants and Blameless for starters. Thanks again!

Leslie wrote: "Hi Vi, so glad you liked your picks. You and I had alot in common, though you had some authors I'm looking forward to reading! As to "Castles", I have it scheduled to read no matter what, so just let me know. "

Thanks for the great picks. I hope I can read two books

Thankyou for the recs, if you fancy doing a buddy read of The Postmistress, I have got it already. I don't know what else I will read yet there are so many I want to read there, I'll see what I can get hold of.

I also have the Postmistress and would love to do the buddy read. Shall I set up a thread for it?

Thanks for the picks! I'm planning on reading Dare to Believe, so if you want to do it as a buddy read, just let me know when would work best for you. Any time after the first week of the month is great for me. I'm also going to try to fit in Smart and Sexy, but that will depend on how my other challenges are going for the month.
Thanks again for the picks!

That is a lot of good picks. I like a lot of them. I may be trying to be too ambitious this month but I would like to read A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford and Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione. I would also like to do one of the buddy reads. I put Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins on hold at my library. I can let you know as soon as I get it.

Here are your picks. I hope you enjoy. If not let me know and I will pick again.
From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins Shadowfever
Nut Clusters First Grave on the Right
Truffles Surrender
Hot Cocoa - A Kiss at Midnight
From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - The Duke
Chocolate Fondue - Tempting the Beast
Dark Chocolate - Naked in DeathChocolate Covered Ants - Fifty Shades of Grey -I highly recomend this story. It has gotten really popular overnight and is a great series. I read them all in one weekend!!
Buddy Reads:
From Their TBR and mine - Delicious
From Your TBR- Captured by the Highlander
Happy Reading! :)

I had great fun looking through your bookshelves we have a lot of book in common, so I hope you can find something to enjoy in April.
From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins
Hidden Star by Nora Roberts.
Moving Target by Elizabeth Lowell
2 authors that you seem to like and have missed these books. I loved both of them.
Nut Clusters
Crazy Love by Tara Janzen – I really loved the look of the cover
Truffles
Talk Me Down by Victoria Dahl
Coming Undone by Lauren Dane
Both of these authors are very good every time I’ve read them.
Hot Cocoa
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger - one of my favourite books ever (much better than the film)
The Reef by Nora Roberts – I love NR and this is very good.

From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
To the moon and back by Jill Mansell
Catch of the Day by Kristan Higgins
I found this difficult as I don’t often read “sweet” romances.
Chocolate Fondue
Shades Of Twilight by Linda Howard – one of the best LH books, I think.
Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon – it’s sort of the first and sort of a prequel to her Dark Hunter series.
Dark Chocolate
Vicious by Kevin O’Brien
The Cruelest Cut by Rick Reed
These books are both very good thrillers that had me very nervous while reading (especially Vicious)
Chocolate Covered Ants
Skin Game by Ava Gray – this was a kindle freebie that turned out to be excellent.
The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan – This is the first of many in a fantasy series called The Wheel of Time (We’re still waiting for the end – just 1 book left)

Buddy Reads:
About That Night by Julie James
How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire by Kerrelyn Sparks
Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke
Smart and Sexy by Jill Shalvis
We had so many books in common that I just picked 4 fromthat were on both our TBR shelves. Let me know if you want to read 1.

Sounds perfect. I own this, so I am completely open.

Hi Coffeentea,
Thanks so much for the recs - I'm not sure which I'll read yet but I've added them all to my April Challenges file so I'm going to see how many I can get through - I imagine it will be a lot.

From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins - Ten things I love about you by Julia Quinn
Nut Clusters – The day I wore my panties inside out By Jen Tucker

Thank you Reetuparna!!
You have given me some great choices. I don't know if I can decide right now, I can't make up my mind :)
I will go with either

I would love to buddy read Lover Reborn with you but I don't know if I will get my hands on a copy by the end of the month. My library still hasn't gotten it in. If you don't end up reading it until later in the month let me know, maybe I will have it by then :)

From Your TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins - Looks like you enjoyed the first of the Hathaways, so keep going! Read Seduce Me at Sunrise, the second book in the series. You can never go wrong with Lisa Kleypas.
Truffles - Hotter Than Wildfire definitely caught my attention! That looks hot enough to melt any kind of chocolate!
Hot Cocoa - I don't usually repeat authors, but Sugar Daddy is a really good book to cuddle up & install yourself with, it's intense but REALLY good. Her characters always draw me in & I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!

From My Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - An Unexpected Love by Claire Matthews was a sweet surprise when I read it - it's short but worth every word.
Chocolate Fondue - Trial by Fire by Jo Davis looks pretty damn spicy!
Dark Chocolate - Suzanne Brockmann is IMHO Romantic Suspense's Queen! Start her Troubleshooters series with The Unsung Hero
Chocolate Covered Ants - I know you don't read PNR, BUT if you like kick ass heroines & sexy men, you've GOT to try this one!

Buddy Reads:
From YOUR TBR - You have Eloisa James's 2nd book on your list, but I'd be cool with reading A Kiss at Midnight (the 1st one) with you! Or even About That Night by Julie James if that sounds better :)
From MY TBR - I keep meaning to read Taking a Shot by Jaci Burton or Sins of a Wicked Duke Sophie Jordan & would love to read them with you

I had great fun looking through your bookshelves we have a lot of book in common, so I hope you can find something to enjoy in April.

Jojo, thank you for the picks! I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am going to read About That Night this month, just as soon as I finish Lover Reborn! So I expect that will be about as soon as it comes out if you are interested, we could do a buddy read then. Several other books jump out at me too. I have been wanting to get back to the series so I might try to read Crazy Love too. And I am intrigued by the Lauren Dane book, but I am a wee bit OCD when it comes to reading series in order, so I have to read the first book first. Smart and Sexy also looks very good! Add in some NR and EL (who I haven't read in far too long) and there are once again too many too choose from! Thanks again!

Since you really didn't have a lot of books on your shelves, I fit in some from your to-read list, and supplemented with others - hopefully, there are a few here that are interesting to you...if not, then let me know
1. Chocolate Raisins
ok, so this was probably the easiest of all the categories - how about I've Got Your Number: A Novel by Sophie Kinsella or 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami
2. Nut Clusters
Practice Makes Perfect was a cute read that you might enjoy or for some humor, why not try Christopher Moore and Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal - I about had a car accident one day while listening to the audiobook because I was laughing so hard
3. Truffles
I love the covers of both of these books -

4. Hot Cocoa
When it comes to snuggling up, I love books that I can get emotionally involved in, so I have a couple of recommendations for you here - Firefly Lane (but you might need some tissues), or for something a bit longer and more in depth, how about either Outlander or The Bronze Horseman
5. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Nora Roberts is always a sweet read for me, so how about the first book in her new series - The Next Always or (although I haven't read this one), Georgette Heyer was known as the Queen of Regency Romance back in the day, so how about False Colours
6. Chocolate Fondue
I love books where certain food items are used in intriguing ways, so why not try either Hot in Here (Gelato) or Zack (you might never look at Cheesecake the same again ;) )
7. Dark Chocolate
I have gone on a real mystery/suspense/thriller kick recently and the first books in 2 series that I have enjoyed are The Surgeon (there is just this sense of realism to Gerritson's work) or No Mercy about a former female army sniper
8. Chocolate Covered Ants
A genre that I love but that I haven't seen on your list is m/m romance - there is a group of us doing a book a month her on the RRRC - and this months is a super-sweet romance, so why not try Clear Water or how about some fantasy with The Blade Itself
9. Buddy Read from your TBR
I had already planned on reading Divergent next month and since its on your list want to join me?
10. From my to-read
How about trying The Baker's Daughter

From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins - The Guardian
Nut Clusters -i don't know if this is funny or not, but the title made me think it might be Wolfsbane and Mistletoe
Truffles - Primal Bonds
Hot Cocoa -Hot Spell.
From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries -Hannah's List
Chocolate Fondue Bound By Honor
Dark Chocolate - The Handmaid's Tale.
Chocolate Covered Ants -The Queen's Fool
Buddy Reads:
From Their TBR -Tangle of Need
From Your TBR - Romance at the Edge: In Other Worlds

Thanks for the picks. It all looks so good! I've kind of been wanting to get back into Ward's series, but this just isn't the month for it. I have, however, debated buying Maya Banks' Highlander series, so that could work as a buddy read. I'll let you know if I find it quickly. coughENABLERcough. LOL. Not that I ever really need a push to go buy more books or anything.
Susan(susayq)
I'm working on your recs and will try to finish it up either tonight or in the morning.

I checked your shelves and you seem to lean predominantly towards paranormal YA. However, I've decided to give you a mixture of genres for your recommendations.
1. Chocolate Raisins:..."
Thank you for your recommendations! They all look like great reads :) I am definitely going to read

As for the buddy reads, I don't quite know how its all supposed to go, like if I'm supposed to read both of them or what. But they are both good picks. I am interested in

Thanks for the picks Nici! Great list. I am going to read

No problem. Can't wait to read

From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins - The Darkest Secret by Gena Showalter
You've given 4 or 5 stars to the rest of the series, so perhaps you will enjoy this one too.
Nut Clusters - Flip That Haunted House by Rose Pressey
This sounded really cute and funny.
Truffles - When You Dare by Lori Foster
I like this cover a lot. It's been sitting in my tbr pile for a long time as well and sounds pretty good.
Hot Cocoa - After Dark by Jayne Castle
This is one of my favorite light, funny series. Plus, it has pet dust bunnies! How can you go wrong?
From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - Born in Shame by Nora Roberts
I loved this whole trilogy, but the 3rd book was my favorite. If you'd rather start at the beginning, Born in Fire is great too.
Chocolate Fondue - The Mane Event by Shelly Laurenston
This series is another favorite of mine. All of the books are hilarious and tons of fun, and this is the first one.
Dark Chocolate - Naked in Death by J.D. Robb
An excellent beginning to a wonderful series with two of my absolute favorite characters.
Chocolate Covered Ants - Bunny and the Bear by Eve Langlais
Someone recommended this to me for another PIFM challenge recently and I loved it. A really fun read.
Buddy Reads:
From Their TBR - Heart of the Dragon by Gena Showalter
I've had this sitting around waiting for be read for a long time.
From Your TBR - Deadly Gift by Heather Graham
I have to admit that I first picked this up because I love the narrator of the audiobook version, but I enjoyed the other two in the trilogy and would to finish it.

Hope you like my recs for you.
Chocolate Raisins - Lover Reborn - finished it today and loved it!
Pride Mates - I saw you have read some of her books. This is the start of a very good serie!
Nut Clusters - Chasing Perfect- haven´t read it, but the blurb is good. or The Bachelor List- seems very funny to me.
Truffles - Sinful - it´s a very good story and the cover is yummy!
Hot Cocoa - The Darkest Hour - just love the Kellys!
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries - Coming Undone - Brody Brown is a man of worth!
Chocolate Fondue - Passion - a very hot reading!
Dark Chocolate - If You Hear Her - a very good start for a wonderful trilogy!
Chocolate Covered Ants - Moon Awakening - a delicious story.
Buddy Reads
From your TBR - Morrigan's Cross it´s also on my TBR for ages...
From my TBR - Matterhorn
Happy reading.

That sounds great - I'm looking forward to it!

Here are your picks. I hope you find something suitably delicious. Let me know if you want to do one of the buddy reads.
1. From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins: Fair Game by Patricia Briggs. I hate that I'm waiting for the paperback version, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't indulge yourself.
2. Nut Clusters: I've read earlier books in this series and they were humorous - Shopaholic & Sister by Sophie Kinsella
3. Truffles: You had two books with very yummy covers, but this one is on my wishlist - Skin Game by Ava Gray
4. Hot Cocoa: This was a harder category to figure out, but I'm guessing this book might fit the bill - The Girl Who Chased Moon by Sarah Addison Allen

From Your Pantry Shelves:
5. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries: I thought The Adventurer by Jayne Ann Krentz was a sweet story with a treasure hunt or we can go for really sweet and chocolaty with Sweet Success by Susan Mallery where the heroine is running a chocolate store and the hero needs someone to mend his broken heart.
6. Chocolate Fondue: I don't usually read very steamy books and the first few I though of, you'd already read, so I'm suggesting Crazy Hot by Tara Janzen. I don't remember how hot the steam level is, but I do remember the main couple did it pretty much everywhere but a bed.
7. Dark Chocolate: Weddings Can be Murder by Christie Craig. It kind of reminds me of Jennifer Crusie's humor with some good suspense. Or Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley. I should have hated this book as it has so many things I don't like, but it sucked me in as it was like watching an adventure movie. The hero is more Ranger-ish than Ranger (which I didn't think possible).
8. Chocolate Covered Ants: The Spellman Files by Lisa Lutz is a fun adventure. It takes a little bit to get used to the strange style, but Izzy and her crazy PI family will worm their way into your heart. It is kind of like Stephanie Plum without the love triangle and blown up cars. Or how about a series on an assassin with elemental powers looking for vengeance - Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep. This series just keeps getting better.

Buddy Reads:
9. From Their TBR: Actually both picks I'm making our on both our TBRs. Maybe this will be the push we need to start reading these. Hard Bitten by Chloe Neill
10. From Your TBR: This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost

Here are your picks. I hope you enjoy. If not let me know and I will pick again.

Hey Megan!
Thanks for the picks. I've wanted to try J.D. Robb, so I will read Naked in Death and of course, Fifty Shades of Grey.

Thanks for the great picks! I've downloaded a few kindle samples (Divergent, The Night Circus and The Perfect Play), but am currently leaning towards

From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:
Chocolate Raisins: You seem to have several authors that you like so here are two options: by Lorelei James, Saddled and Spurred or by J.D. Robb, Portrait in Death
Nut Clusters One of the funniest books I read last year: by Molly Harper, And One Last Thing .... But this one might be another option: by J. Maarten Troost, Getting Stoned with Savages
Truffles Well, hello doctor! By Ann Jacobs Loving Control. Or there's nothing quite as sexy as a guy who can cook. By Louisa Edwards, Too Hot To Touch
Hot Cocoa I'll admit to picking it becuase of the hot item on the cover. There was coffee too. By Stephani Hecht, Double Shot Cappuccino

From Your Pantry Shelves:
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries: My immediate first thought was The Winter Sea, but you already read it! lol Then this author's works came to mind. Loved the characters Stephanie Perkins writes about, so I hope you give Anna and the French Kiss a shot.
Chocolate Fondue: I personally love the heat between Eve and Roarke in the In Death Series books, but I've already offered up one of those. How about Hotter After Midnight by Cynthia Eden as a great alternative.
Dark Chocolate A must!:Divergent by Veronica Roth. Top read of 2011 for me. But I also found Divine Evil by Nora Roberts to a little scary and thrilling too.
Chocolate Covered Ants - Try it, you might like it: I think Pamela Clare's I-Team Series is a stellar one and I didn't find anything by her in your read list, so how about Extreme Exposure? Or something that started out a little creepy, but I finished loving it was Seers of Light by Jennifer DeLucy. Fantastically good!!

Buddy Reads:
From Their TBR I was really struck by this cover and have a weakness for things relating to Atlantis for some strange reason. Atlantis Rising by Alyssa Day
From Your TBR We both seem to like things that have an edge to them, so how about tackling Midnight Caller by Leslie Tentler

From Your Pickee's TBR Cupboard:

Hi Erin! I love all of your picks. I am having a hard time deciding which ones to read. I am going to start with Bunny and the Bear by Eve Langlais. I also want to read Flip That House by Rose Pressey.
Can we read Deadly Gift together?
If I get these books finished, I want to read Born in Shame by Nora Roberts. I haven't read any of her books.

Pollyanna-I'll make a trip to the library tomorrow and see what I can find and let you know. I read The Firm years ago and liked it and My Sister's Keeper is my favorite Jodi Picoult.

Also, Ana, thank you for the recs! I'd love to read “About That Night” by Julie James with you! Let me know how you want to go about it (thread vs. PM)

I LOVED going through your shelves. You have so many books on your TBR shelf that I have read and loved and it was so hard to just pick a few, because you have really great ones awaiting you. I tried to give you a lot of choices, but if you don't find anything here that you like, I will happily go back to your shelves and choose others.
Chocolate Raisins: (Bevelstoke #1) by Julia Quinn
All About Love(Cynster #6) by Stephanie Laurens
Darker After Midnight by Lara Adrian
Or any by these authors that you haven’t read yet. I noticed that you had quite a few on your ‘read’shelf and rated them fairly high.
Nut Clusters: Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner
Confessions of a Shopoholic by Sophie Kinsella
Angus, Thongs, and Full-frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison
I’ve read all of these and they are funny.
Truffles: The Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke (or any of the Lake Eden books by Joanne Fluke – they all have yummy covers!)
The Thin Woman by Dorothy Cannell (chocolate chips AND a great story)- not on your list but really good
Dangerous Heat(Dark Sword #1) by Donna Grant - - yummy in a different way!
Hot Cocoa: The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs - sounded snuggly to me! I crochet but don’t knit, however anything with yarn seems warm and cozy!
Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries: The French Gardener by Santa Montefiore
Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman
The Twelve Days of Christmas by Tricia Ashley (how about some Christmas in April?)
Chocolate Fondue: And One Last Thing by Molly Harper (some hot sections)
French Quarter (Hot in the City #1) by Lacey Alexander (hot, hot, hot!)
Dark Chocolate: The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley
Wicked Appetite by Janet Evanovich
Sprinkled with Murder (Cupcake Bakery #1) by Jenn McKinlay
Play Dead – John Levitt (this is #4 in a series, but I read it as a stand-alone and it was excellent – a paranormal story with a mystery thrown in)
Chocolate-Covered Ants – Born at Midnight by C.C.Hunter - I just read this one this past week and it was an excellent paranormal story.
The Atomic Weight of Secrets by Eden Unger Bowditch - great story – move over, Harry Potter. Almost.
Julia’s Chocolates by Cathy Lamb – hot and different from most of what you have on your list. One of my all-time favorite books ever.
BUDDY READS:
From your TBR: Virgin River (#1) by Robyn Carr
How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (for something a bit more serious)
From my TBR: How to knit a wild bikini by Christie Ridway (the knitting thing again but I have this whole series and would like to read it soon)
Hot Ice by Nora Roberts
Virals by Kathy Reichs
Sorry I am late getting this posted. My mother-in-law did get home from the hospital today so we were busy until this evening. She is recovering well, fortunately.
Also, I am willing to do Buddy Reads of any of these any time during the month of April, so please let me know if you are interested. Again, it was a pleasure looking at your lists!

I LOVE your picks for me! They are just perfect. I do read a lot of YA, having just retired from being a high school librarian. Probably about 90% of my reading in past years has been YA, so now that I don't HAVE to read YA, I am actually enjoying 'adult'books. My high school students had fairly sophisticated reading tastes, so we did read a lot of best sellers, classics, and books that appealed to adults, too. I have also just recently read more paranormal stuff than I usually do, because I also review YA books, and have actually found some that I liked, even though it is probably my least favorite genre. Stretching my horizons, though...
In any case, I will be starting with Explosive Eighteen, which has been sitting here tempting me while I had to read review books. It was going to be my reward for getting them all done, so it is PERFECT that you picked it for me!
I am also willing to do any of the Buddy Reads any time in April, so let me know if you are interested in doing any of them together.
Thanks again for GREAT picks!
