My own personal goal is always to get 50% of the points - didn't make it in the Winter, but I will get there this time.
I just set up a "personal goals" topic in the Getting to Know You folder, for anyone who would like to share their personal goals/progress, etc.

appreciative I am for the Mods hard work.
I can't even imagine how it eats up
your free time, and you do this for us and
for the LOVE of reading.
Thank you!!!!!

I read a book I have owned for 2 years:
Wholly Smokes

125 pages.
Disappointing, normally I expect a better read from Sladek, but there were amusing spots. Satire is clearly difficult to pull off.

it on Goodreads- so above are the page numbers***

Each season I increase my personal goal. This Spring Season I set my goal to at least achieving 800 points and I'm proud to say I reached it with my posting today. I work as a Library Youth Associate and homeschool my 17 year old son, so I'm pleased with my seasonal reading accomplishments. However, one of these seasons; I will be able to say that I've completed all of the given tasks! Life is never boring for me with a book in my hand and a pug by my side. :)

800 points is really good Lindy-Lane. I don't know how people who are still working ever finish the challenge. I'm happily retired so I have the time to do my favorite thing - read. I don't have a pug at my side but I have a 130 lb. malamute trying to climb in my lap. :)
