I'm retired which helps a lot in being able to finish the challenge. I don't know how anyone who is still working ever does it.
It is really difficult to tell how far people have gotten the way the points are set up. For example you could read 10 books that are all 5 pointers and only show 50 points or those same 10 books could be for 30 pointers and you would have 150 points. It is hard to tell how many more tasks people have to complete to finish. Several people are pretty close.
Clear as mud?

Yep, clear as Mud. I actually know what you mean, Sheila. And you're very sweet to say such nice words about my reviews ;-}
And dear new friend, are YOU the Sheila in the duo that comes up with very interesting tasks?

You can do it, Mrs. soule!!!!!!!!

.."
That would be me Anne, but Kathy G. gets all the kudos for the task ideas. I am TERRIBLE at creating tasks so I just randomly last season asked Kathy G. if she would like to do it. She was always posting such creative ideas in the ideas thread. We have since become great friends. (Hopefully Kathy feels the same way) ;/

You bet I feel the same.
So excited for everyone to finish.
Thank you Sheila for letting me use
my creative juices!!!

5.8 Too Long To-Do List
I've been meaning to read The Magician's Nephew for years now - and finally got to it.

10.9. I’m On Fire! Read a book that you're "hot" to read.

For my first book, I read Life as We Knew It, listed as post apocalytic and dystopia.
For my second book, I read The Poisoner's Handbook: Murder and the Birth of Forensic Medicine in Jazz Age New York - this was set during the 1920's and 1930's.

For 2, author born in 1951, I read Those Who Hunt the Night by Barbara Hambly, born 8/28/51.
For 4, book published in 1951, I read Foundation
50.1. Cindy AL's Task: North to Alaska
When I started looking at this task, I realized that I had not read the last 3 books in Dana Stabenow's Kate Shugak series - what could be more perfect.
And, all three books fit all 3 options!
Option 1 - A Night Too Dark by Dana Stabenow. Initials "DS" in SEWARDSFOLLY.
Option 2 - Though Not Dead. Mystery is the top genre listed for the book.
Option 6 - Restless In The Grave. The book is set in Alaska, and Dana Stabenow is an Alaskan author.

Anyone else a contender???
Looking at the Readerboard, it looks like so many people did so good this season. I bet we had a lot of folks achieve their personal bests this spring. I guess that is a statistic that the moderators can't track. It would be interesting to know though.
