A Discovery of Witches

Who would you like to see play Matthew in the movie, if one were made?

Oh yes! He'd be good too

Yes definitely!

Or Phillipe. He can just play everyone. :-)

I thought so too! Honestly, the only one I could see playing Matthew

I know this is forever old but I just read this book and am going through all the reviews and topics now but 100% agree that he would be perfect for the role. He is a beautiful man!!!

Richard Armitage. Richard Armitage. Richard Armitage. Richard Armitage. Richard Armitage.......

Yesss!

Oh, I love him. Good choice."
Yes!!

ooh, if he can pull of an accent (sort of French, sort of British) my vote would go for him... though he does come off a little too nice...
I'm half way through reading the 2nd book in the series, The Shadow of Night, and I love it! My choice for Matthew Clairmont? Matt Bomer! As long as he could pull of a faint French accent.

Stephen Moyer is a wonderful actor, but unfortunately he is only around 5'8" or 5'9", and Matthew is described as being 6'3".
Richard Armitage is a great choice, he is very handsome, is in his early 40's, is dark haired and has a great stage presence, is about the right height, and most importantly, he is a great actor.

If I had Twitter I would support this!

You should because they are starting a campaign to have their voice heard with Warner Bros. @Armitage4Clairm (Twitter) and https://www.facebook.com/Armitage4Cla... (Facebook)

A bit too young and not enough 'darkness' around him.
