But I'm happy to move on from that awful episode. Forget it ever happened.

Still researching one or two before I can post the polls. :)
And I am watching a very cute Koala in the tree near my house. That's a nice distraction.

It is so unfortunate that when people delete their profiles the proof goes with them. But at least some saw it before he/she vanished

I got distracted with the rather ghastly modding business I had to do in this thread today and i ran out of time to do Polls.
Polls tomorrow! Only one day lat in my country, and no days late everywhere else. :)

I don't want to give him the satisfaction of speaking of it but wow... consider my mind boggled. Was he even sick?! Obviously its a different sickness we're talking about. Ok moving on.

I moved over the weekend and then there was all this drama and I didn't have internet service but now I do, so you'll be seeing all my "likes" again.
Thanks for thinking of me bud...."
Thank you dear! I'm moved, don't know about settled lol.

You'll be glad to here that I was responsible for a change and arranged everything before hand.

Too right! Just to put the icing on the cake, I had two tests on my birthday! I tried to play the sympathy card, "you know cause it's my birthday can we do the test tomorrow?" But sadly it didn't work. *sad face*

Happy B-day Robin - It sounds like you enjoyed your day
Welcome back Alijca and my sincere condolences
Terri - thx for the update on Derek/Molly - Shakes head sadly

but not allowed to.

Yeah, it come out in the summer of 2013. ;)

Well I was thinking of you after I saw that :)"
We all were, I think :)

Don't know how to break this to you all. I know that many of you have suspected what I am about to say and while it won't come as a surprise, I know you'll be shocked to see someo..."
I'm shocked. I guess I'm very gullible, since I felt so very sorry for him.

I am with You here Terri. The anonimity on the net is a terrible thing sometimes. He/She clearly needs some help.
By the way, I am still here, just reading the comments everyday.

This is what I get for being gone for a while. Damn. Was I fooled. Glad you figured it out Terri. Well done. Sure hope Derek gets help though. Actually feel a bit sorry for someone that is that desperate for attention. Moving on.... Three more weeks of brutal travel and then home for a week.

The Force Awakens.
That sounds exciting."
if anybody's interested there's a thread about this. Can't quite remember which group it's in though. I think It's in the scifi and fantasy group.

Cheers.

Is it a kids cartoon? Anachronistic is one heck of a word to stick in a children's show. lol!

On the up side. It allowed us to have warmed up Christmas fruit Mince Pies and Icecream for pudding over the last few months. :)
Didn't have to wait for December to do that.

Yes it's a children's cartoon but I think it's targeted at older children like 7-8 and up. Even still, anachronistic is quite the word. Elizabeth struggled to even pronounce it.

But then I was a slow country gal. :D

I have to make a public apology: I was hooked on HF but I just needed to go back to my former self: a chronic fiction reader, so I went back to: Gone Girl, The Goldfinch, Wool and many, many other books so I don't have much time for HF. So sorry to bring this to your attention, now I am hooked on Station Eleven but I pretty much enjoyed the new Cornwell. Uhtred in my heart forever.

I stopped reading HF for well over a year, a few years ago (before A&M). The new Uhtred books were all I read in that time too.
That's why we have the thread 'What Are You Reading Now?'. For members to tell each other and discuss what they are reading irrespective of genre. :)
This thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
If you ever feel like it, feel free to share your non HF reads there.

I have read Wool, Gone Girl, and just finished Station Eleven! Versatility in reading genres is totally accepted amongst this group.

Now we need to work on getting it through to the final round!!
I have voted.

I suspect though, that now it is one of the options, and people will get the GR email saying "a book you have read made it into the GR Awards semi finals" it may get plenty of votes.
It has been very widely read. Has more reviews and ratings than most of the other books on that list. Those reviewers and raters need to come vote now. :)
Imagine if it got through and then won! We could claim to have got it into the comp in the first place. hehe
