My First 50 at Post #183

If you like the revised layout, I should let you know…**whispers: “I stole it from Joann!”**

Books in bold are “Chunksters” at > 450 pages.

❀ indicates a re-read via any media (I often “re-read” a book via audio.)

I found several items on the Internet that say 200 location numbers on a Kindle are equivalent
to 10 - 11 pages. When no hardback or paperback editions are available for reverence, I'll covert with the lower number.

Shay | 923 comments Gemma wrote: "My kindle has broken so I have come to a sudden halt ):"

How old was it? Is it under warranty? Also, what's broken? I think I've read that a few things- short of a cracked screen- are really fixable. My Nook died- well, I dropped it and cracked the screen- in December. Right before Christmas. I really had a hard time going back to only reading DTB's. So happy it was under warranty and I got a new one- and a newer model too. Although the new one doesn't have Sudoku and that bums me out.

Gemma I rang up Amazon and a nice Irish man named Brandon has sent me a replacement for free (:
It looked like part of the screen had just sort of dropped off and it was stuck on stand by.
I feel very relieved now, it will be so strange taking a real book on my work commute with me for the next few days though!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments FOFLOL! Yeah, you and me both, Catherine. If he is sexy, handsome, supportive, and rich like Roarke in the In Death series, all the better. ☺

Catherine | 5067 comments hehe! I don't know that series...but I'll take Jamie Fraser from Outlander series any day! he's Scottish!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 15159 comments In Death is by J.D. Robb. Naked in Death (In Death, #1) by J.D. Robb is the first. Roarke is the billionaire Irishman in it.
