Um, there's no offical rulings, I don't think, so it's up to you, if you want to

Errr... Don't remember saying that but that's not to say I haven't... let me just say,
Lynn... you can't really count on Oct-Dec to read these books. Get most of them out of the way this month ;)

I think I inferred it from what you said in message 22 in Movement-thread 10. And, perhaps, a bit of wishful thinking. (:>)
@ Bea ... not a new LOST challenge, but a new PAS challenge in which I'm certain to become instantly absorbed, to the detriment of anything else (like LOST)

Sorry, Susan. I misunderstood...but you are right, I will get just as involved with the new PAS challenge, too.

LOL! You actually might have a point there!!
I read Don't Die Dragonfly, and gave it a scant 3 stars. I liked it ok, but didn't think it was great. It might be best for a younger audience than I was expecting. My review here .
I have 2 left, neither on this month's shelf. Hard to pass up Freedom or City of Glass. So maybe Dune and Inkspell will have to wait a bit.

Well, I might just meet that goal. I have found a way to fit 6 of the 7 into challenges. So psyched!

I've just finished one - it's one of those that makes you wonder why it took you so long to pick it up!
Replay is kinda like Groundhog's Day without the funnies and it's repeating 25 years rather than just the 1 day. Powerful & poignant - reminds me to live each day as if it were my last and to make the best of life as this it IT!
I've started another Lost book so I'm nearly halfway, yay!

Oops. I just realized that by not completing the form about this on our home page (because I knew I'd go through multiple LOST lists in the year, but didn't want to try to guess how many), the ones I've read haven't added to our group list. It still says "total challenges completed 0." I've filled out the form now, but that won't count the books I've already read this year, so it will mess up our group statistics -- apologies to all for not understanding that earlier.
I finished Inkspell on 10/9.
My next list:
The African Quest
Julian Comstock: A Story of 22nd-Century America
Hush
The Memory Keeper's Daughter
Faithful Place (Dublin Murder Squad, #3) - finished 11/5
Rainbow's End
Double Helix
The Danish Girl
Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch
Drums, Girls & Dangerous Pie

Don't worry about it, Susan... not everyone uses it anyway, it's just there is you'd like to use it :)
But, good on you for going through multiple LOST lists this year! It's Fantastic! I'm only halfway lol but I've fit in the rest of the books into the bday games so I should be finished by end of year :D

Lord of Raven's Peak
A Confederation of Valor
The Speed of Dark
Green Mars
No matter my good intention at the beginning of the year, I always find myself rushing at the end of the year! With less than a month to go, I've still got 4 more to go (am reading one of them at the moment!)
I know some of you have been really good and have read more than 10 of your LOST books, how are the rest of you going?
Btw, would you like me to set up 2013 LOST thread this month?

I would definitely be interested in doing a 2013 round of LOST. It is great to knock some of the dreaded moldy oldies off my TBR shelf.
Bea wrote: "Tien, I am going to say yes also, evne though I have not made much headway this year."
I remembered you did really well last year, Bea. That's okay, you've had a lot to deal with this year. How are you holdin' up?

Pretty good. Cancer scares are on the back burner until sx done and more answers known - probably next week. Remainder dog has adjusted to life without his buddy and so have we mostly.
I finished two complete sets of 10, but have not made much progress on my 3rd set -- the birthday games have given me too many other choices. I'd be happy to have a 2013 round. I've found that it and Mount TBR sort of work at cross-purposes, but that's really ok.
@Susan -LOST & Mt TBR only crossed right at the beginning as LOST focused on books that have been longest on shelf whilst Mt TBR skips and jumps forward. I'm embarassed to say that my LOST books are still stuck on books I've added in the first month I joined GR, ha ha ha... It doesn't feel like I've moved on much at all!
If there's any cross over, it's only going to be the first book which I have now bypassed and will therefore not cross over with any of my 2013 LOST books.

I know. What I meant by "cross-purposes was exactly that -- they are two separate lists calling to me, telling me I should read from them. Competing demands on my reading time.

Oh I see - I'm so used to having multiple reading challenges going on at the same time that the that particular line of thought didn't really occur to me LOL

I've just started that, too. But with multiple challenges, I'm always trying to find a book that will work for more than one -- and, by definition, no book can work for both of these. Not a big deal, really, just frustrating sometimes when I'm choosing.

Will start the 2013 thread soon-ish!"
Congrats, Tien! I'm just starting my last book. Looking forward to getting a new list for 2013!

Woohoo! It's great to finish up challenges for the year, isn't it? Am so looking forward to starting new ones :)

Does the new challenge start in October? How did I miss that? I've been counting on having through December to read the books ... think that's what I'm going to have to do anyway.
