I'm reading 'the chronicles of narnia' I've never picked it up before but I found the complete collection for £1 in a charity shop! (Bargain) it's great, I'm hoping to train as a primary school teacher in the future and would love to read it to a class. The language in it is early 20th century and I think kids could learn a lot from a book like this.
Still reading the Harry Potter series (over 60% through Order of the Phoenix) and also reading The Snows of Kilimanjaro and Other Stories by Ernest Hemingway.

I think that will be a great project for them. I'm having a hard time putting it down myself.
I read my first Hemingway story just a few days ago, The Snows of Kilimanjaro. I enjoyed it and will definitely read more by him.

I am joyously reading/listening to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. Elijah Wood does a perfect reading of this story. I am also trudging through World War Z by Max Brooks.
I'm reading "Bible Tales: The First Five Books in Rhyme (For Children and Adults)" by Samara Doumnande. It's great so far!
Amara wrote: "The City of Ember"I havent read that in such a long time! That was such a good book! Maybe I'll read it again...
M reading Stephen Kings Pet Sematery for the 53rd time... Waiting on a new book or 2 choose another. +

Meredith wrote: "I'm reading The City of Bones from the Mortal Instruments series...very good so far!"ive read the 1st 4 i need to get city of lost souls
I'm now up to Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince and still loving the HP series though this one is a bit of a let down. Over halfway through and not a whole lot of action. It has had a lot of interesting background info but not a lot of action. Hopefully the last third of the book makes up for that.
im reading The Book Thief, i had seen good things about it and it sounded interesting, but it started kind of weird.
Mayra wrote: "im reading The Book Thief, i had seen good things about it and it sounded interesting, but it started kind of weird."The Book Thief is a bit different - Death is its narrator. It is a very good book, good enough to be on a list of books everyone should read. Markus Zusak also wrote I am the Messenger, completely different from The Book Thief and also very good.
Just started Love, Dishonor, Marry, Die, Cherish, Perish by David Rakoff and an audiobook Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

ill defenetly keep at it :) but it did through me off a bit
I am currently reading The Hobbit by Tolkien, Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel and Parade's End by Ford Madox Ford. And I already saw some interesting titles to read after I've finished these.
I'm reading Pride and Prejudice. It's my third time reading it but I find something new every time and it always helps me get back into the swing of reading :)
Tales of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong (this is a reread) along with other short stories from her series.
Kenneth wrote: "About a third of the way through book 7 of Harry Potter."Is this your first time reading Deathly Hallows?
If so, I'm envious. I'd love to read the series for the first time, again.
Yes. I read the first 4 several years ago and stopped. I do not even remember why I stopped. Just got caught up reading other stuff I guess. A couple months ago I bought the whole series in ebook format and started over with book 1 and have been reading them straight through. As of this minutes 39% through Deathly Hallows.
