Why not to give GR members the possibility to use other members's language skills? If they don't want to help, nothing can force them to do so, but I'd like sometimes that someone better than me in English or Spanish to help for my translation of a sentence or two.
And I did look in other groups for threads about translation, and I didn't found any. :(

You requested a translator for a biography though. That is more than a sentence or two. That work requires a professional.
The Librarians group is for help with book records in the database, not for help with actual books.

No, I just needed help for the translation of this biography. But it's all translated now.
Sometimes, in my French story, there are secondary characters speaking foreign languages and I need to be sure that my few dialogues are ok. :)

Romanian - native

Afrikaans: good understanding, due to Dutch knowledge
English: fluent
French: intermediate
German, Spanish and Swedish: (very) basic
