Congrats, Lethal!Is it just me or does it seem like many are finishing the challenge so fast? I'm still only halfway through my challenge and I still haven't picked all the books.

I guess I am still halfway through mine to Vi. I read a lot of them at once and am jumping around so its taking me longer, but realistically I think I have two more I need to read.

I've only read 4 of my 6 so far, if that makes you feel better. I'm in awe of the folks who have already read all 10!
For the geography category, does the main character have to be from Italy or can it be a supporting characters? I'm reading Glory in Death and one of the possible suspects is Italian. Alternatively, I read Heartless, and the main character in that is half-Italian. Would either of those count?
I'm petty enough to say yes, it does, Christine. I think I'm around that same range and I'm shooting for 8 min. My only consolation is that there's 15 more days to go!Maybe you should post your question in the Suggestions thread: it's easier for Debbie to take a look instead of here..

Thanks, Vi!I can't speak for everyone else, but I know the reason why I'm reading so fast: finals are over! *does the robot* Since Winter break has started, I have a lot more free time to read. Great, right? I keep switching between being ecstatic that I can finally dedicate my time to reading & being a little stir-crazy because I feel like I should be doing something productive. Funny how that works. You're so excited to have a couple of weeks to yourself & when you get it, you're like, WTF am I going to do with myself now?!!?

I know that feeling...I have 44 days off till I have to enroll in tafe again. I plan to read as much as I can.
I know that feeling too. I am awaiting 10 days off my work between 24th Dec and 1st Jan. But I know I will start going crazy after 2 days!

Mountain Kat I just saw your "Go the F*** to Sleep" pick. My husband and I laughed and laughed reading that book. Now that my kids aren't so young anymore we can laugh, before we might have just cried! I wish I'd thought to use that as MY pick. Good job!

I actually bought "Go the F**k to Sleep" for my husband for Christmas after seeing it mentioned on here. We've got three boys all sleeping in the same room. The older two aren't so bad anymore, but the 3 year old? Goodness help us. I laughed so hard reading this book.

I laughed till I cried when I read it and even now there is one part that when I think of it I start all over again!
Christine, I bought it for my son! They have a 2 1/2 year old who doesn't like bedtime. Naptime, no problem, but bedtime she fights.
