Hey, I just ordered it from Amazon Prime (it was too hard to pay $8 for Kindle when I could buy 3 pb books for the price of 4). I should have it early next week to start!

I read Like Water for Chocolate as a buddy read with Vi. I enjoyed many aspects of the book, but was also bewildered by some of it. Thanks for the rec though, I am glad I read it :)
Thanks for reading it with me Vi!

I'm glad you are enjoying your picks! I'm sorry you didn't like Exclusively Yours more. I guess we aren't reading In Bed with a Highlander as a buddy read, but that is probably for the best anyway since I am not getting much reading done yet. Pain meds make focusing difficult! I am so glad to hear you liked it though, I am really looking forward to it!

Nora Roberts and Richelle Mead share the title of most recommended author this month. I believe this is the first time in the top group for Simone Elkeles. This might also be the first time J.R. Ward didn't make this list (although she was in the next group of 7 authors with 9 recommendations).
1. Nora Roberts - 15
1. Richelle Mead - 15
3. Maya Banks - 14
4. Karen Marie Moning - 13
4. J.D. Robb - 13
4. Cassandra Clare - 13
4. Diana Gabaldon - 13
4. George R.R. Martin - 13
9. Sarah Addison Allen - 12
9. Suzanne Collins - 12
11. Jennifer Crusie - 11
12. Simone Elkeles - 10
12. Stieg Larsson - 10
12. Lisa Kleypas - 10
12. Lorelei James - 10
out of 1026 recommendations

Another tie at the top. We have the first book in a very popular fantasy series (it even has an HBO show) and the first book in a long (over 30 books) mystery/romance series. This is Divergent's first time on this list and also Perfect Chemistry's.
1. A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin - 11
1. Naked in Death by J.D. Robb - 11
3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - 9
3. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - 9
5. Divergent by Veronica Roth - 8
5. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - 8
7. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare - 7
7. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak - 7
7. Long Hard Ride by Lorelei James - 7
7. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles - 7
7. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead - 7
12. Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning - 6
12. Extreme Exposure by Pamela Clare - 6

Loved it. A must-read for any Lisa Kleypas fan. Wonderful to catch up with the Wallflower characters again.
Now off to do some reading for another challenge. But I just might be able to fit in another read from the list that Sandy made up for me!

I'm glad people enjoy them. You are right, they do take a long time, but it is cool to see how the top recommendations change or stay the same over time.

I glad you enjoyed it. The rest of the series is in the same vein.

I finished Taking Chase yesterday...boy those Chase men are yummy!! Thanks again for the recs!

I just finished Before I Go to Sleep. I am afraid I didn't like it as much as I wanted to. Nonetheless it was a good mystery-slash-thriller read and I am glad I read it. Thanks for the rec!

Thanks for the picks, Kimberly."
You;re welcome! I'm going to read it this weekend.

@ Diane - Firefly - sounds good, I've been picking away at it slowly! :)

Sure it would be awesome to me next week. I'm reading for now The lightning thief recommended to me by Debbie. I'll finish it on Saturday and I'll have time next week for Naked in Death

I also have "Naked in Death" as a challenge read this month. Mind if I join you on your thread?

I'm glad you liked your picks Tiffany. Dee recommended Faith and Fidelity to me a few months ago and I love passing it on. I just finished Hot Head which was similar in that they're straight, but very different (and very sexy). I really enjoyed it, you should give it a try. :-)

yep, Naked in Death is a good one too - enjoy

Jane, Shell, Dee & myself have been getting together and reading M/M for the last few months. If you want to join us next month, we'll be reading A Red-Tainted Silence. :)
