Lisa Kay wrote: "Laura, I was looking at

I haven't seen the TV show... but I looked at the DVDs in the video store. Someday... when I need more gore in my life, LOL!
I'm having difficulties coming up with a book that starts with a K. I might need to think about this a bit more.

CaroB wrote: "I just bought the JD Robb Collection, so hoping I like the first to continue the series."The whole collection, CaroB!? Whoa.
just on ebook, Lisa Kay, but yeah :-) I'm familiar with Nora Robert's writing style, so figured it was a pretty good guess I'd enjoy these.
I know you don't like audiobooks, CaroB, but this series is soooooo well narrated. I'm racking my brain for a series that is done better. In fact, Susan Ericksen just gets better and better. She just did Peabody with a cold. Sooooo funny.
I've only tried a couple of audiobook Lisa, and kept getting distracted or falling asleep. Maybe if my library had a better selection and I could try a few more free, I'd give them another go... they do seem to take longer to listen to than to read, why is that d'ye think?

CaroB wrote: "...they do seem to take longer to listen to than to read, why is that d'ye think?"Because you're a fast reader, silly lady! LOL! Did you mother read you to sleep when you were little? I bet you were a cutie.
Oh, Heather! I need to read
. I've read several in that series and that is one of the holes I need to plug.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Did you mother read you to sleep when you were little?..."Actually, no. I often wonder if that's the reason I don't like being read to. Mum wasn't big on fiction. Dad didn't read. My brother and I devour books. And my kids would cuddle books to sleep instead of plush toys if it weren't for the sharp corners :-)
Heather wrote: "My current list. May change due to whimsy..."Forgive me, I'm obviously in a silly mood, but this cracked me up! Gotta love whimsy! :-)
