I've just finished
with Michelle. Great book to buddy read, and boy, I learnt quite a few things, but I'm just not sure if they are accurate!! It was 3.5 starts for me...
Kimmy wrote: "Sure, sounds good. What does that entail?Cheryl wrote: "Kimmy wrote: "Cheryl,
Got the book,
when did you want to start? You have a lot of books on you..."Kimmy I opened up a discussion under Dare To Read (Oct PIFM "buddy read" The Night Circus). So we can post under this when we start reading tomorrow. Happy reading! Cheryl
Finished The Darkest Night today. I guess it really is just Gena Showalter that I don't like. I'll see about giving a different pick a shot. Oh well, worse things have happened.

Thanks for the picks! I'm probably going to read Switched
Katie wrote: "I just finished up my buddy read with ~Megan~ and Dawn (Kat N Hat) of First Grave on the Right. I LOVED it! I can't wait to read the next book."Thanks again for the rec. It was one I had put off before, I am really glad I actually read it it was great!
Yep - Passion was not what I was expecting at all. First chapter - woop and wow. Gives a whole other meaning to battering ram... We gave up pretty early on the "this can't really happen"... I was glad for Jane's insight during the read. We had a bit of fun with the visuals we couldn't help but draw. LOL!!

You're welcome! I really enjoyed it, too :)
D.G. ~Shameless Hussy~ wrote: "LOL, Jane! Her poor womb!"LOL - clearly you have read this one DG!! Unbelievable! Michelle and I had some fun conversations, especially since we both live near horses! *snigger snigger*
Yup, I read it when it came out. I was in B&N browsing shelves and started reading the first few pages and I was like OMG! They just met and they're at it already! I was in pain on her behalf (but bought the book right away, LOL!)

Just finished Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella which I did for a Buddy Read with Moviemavengal, and it was fabulous!!
Nancy wrote: "Just finished Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella which I did for a Buddy Read with Moviemavengal, and it was fabulous!!"So glad Nancy had me read Twenties Girl with her as my first ever buddy read. It WAS fabulous. No idea why it languished on my TBR list so long.
So much more fun read together!

hey for some reason this link is not working...?
Just finished one of my recommendations
. The book in the whole wasn't that bad, but it lacked a couple of things. It had almost no dialog, just different people going on and on and on. Just keeping up with the 4 different POVs and keeping up with every single thought they were having was exhausting...not like the other books in the series.
Read and finished two of my PIFM.Rock:
give it 4 stars if only because I absolutely loved the interaction between the two main characters almost enough to miss the big ole plot holes. lol Country:
3 1/2 stars on this one. Loved the story. The male lead is so sweet and romantic you want to take him home yourself. But the Female lead was not developed as well. She made me want to take her out back, smack her a few times and tell her to grow up. lolNow on to the next ones on the list! lol
I finished Betrayed, the second book in the House of Night series. I liked this one a bit better than the first book, Marked and gave it four stars. I am still partial to the Vampire Academy series more, but this series is growing on me.
I finished Hot Head today. The story was good and it was very emotional, but I wasn't particularly fond of the author's style so I had a little trouble getting into it. Once I got past about the first 1/3 or so I liked it. Thanks, Robin O. for the recommendation!
Lorena--I just finished Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake, which you recommended. It was a very fun read, thanks! Nice to have such a fun read for a reading challenge.

Hey Kerste,I just finished
this was a 2.75 star read. Almost a 3 but I didn't like a number of things. I will be continuing the series though.

I've only read the first one. I hear the rest are much better.
I just finished
and I would give it 4 stars. It was good although a little frustrating. I feel like it is fille with a lot of fluff to try and the story where it needs to go. But it was highly entertaining!

In my opinion, they do get better. I didn't care too much for the first one, thought the second was better, and really liked books three through five. Plus I think the last book in the series ends with a lead in to her new series. I haven't read the new one yet, so I don't know how connected they are.
It's funny about the Demonica series. I actually liked the first book the most (I was soo in love with E) and didn't care at all for books 4 & 5 or the new series. I think it got too complicated.

I guess that's why there are so many options out there. There really is something for everyone.
I'm wondering about the stats, I've been waiting for them just for curiosity shouldn't someone post them by now :)

Oh Shirley:-( I'm really sorry that you weren't that keen on the this pick! I was waiting to see what you thought of it, as I was having a hard time with Linger. I think I may leave reading Forever. Hope you enjoy your other picks should you choose to read them...

I finished The Lost Recipe for Happiness a few days ago and really enjoyed it. It wasn't what I expected so it was a very pleasant surprise :)
I just finished
rated it 3 stars, but I must admit I am disappointed.. I expected more from this book..nevermind the ratings here on GR, the beginning was promising a good story. Yet, it didn't fulfill my expectations:)
Lacy,I just got the notification from the library that One Grave at a Time is on hold for me. I will probably pick it up on Monday. When would you like to buddy read it?
Cathy wrote: "ShellbelleI picked up Changeless at the library today. When would you like to start the buddy read?"

Hi Lacy, I've just finished a buddy read, so now I have started three of your picks, and will see which one grabs me the most:
Night Circus
Here Today Gone to Maui
Agnes and the Hitman
So far I think Night Circus seems the most intriguing...
Thanks again for such good picks!
