Please edit or correct or delete this quote. (part 2)

Thanks!

I'll fix the attributes by on your quotes by making sure that they show Laura Burks as the author and the book as Altered. But since you're a goodreads author you should merge the "Laura Burks author of Altered" into your regular author profile, or ask a superlibrarian to do it.

The actual quote from the book is very different
"Let me say this: bein a idiot is no box of chocolates."
The version from the film WAS written into Gump and Co which is more of a sequel to the movie than to the first book:

So I suppose you could either change the text to the correct quote OR change the book. I prefer the correct version

But I suspect the 400+ users who have shelved it would not. Changed it to the second book.
You could always add the correct quote from the first book as well.

Well, I PREFER the original version but not by much. I like the movie version even less now that I know that it was, apparently, invented by the movie makers.
If I hadn't read both books we would have deleted the quote entirely. There is a moral there somewhere.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
No, that's not it . . .

and two others already purged.

I did do a search on gutenberg, and did not find a quote even similar #333. However, I left 333 and 338 for someone else since I am not familiar with the text of that book.

Sorry - forgot the link

Here's another example."
mm interesting, I got it clickable by editing, added 1 (anything)then reedited and it is clickable

I started out trying my normal tactic. I deleted the last couple letters, let it search, and then selected the author name from the drop-down list. When I saved, the name still wasn't clickable.
However, when I added a number and then saved, like Paula suggested above, it created an new clickable author name. I was then able to go back and correct the author name, which was then clickable.
Seems like some sort of weird bug, but at least there's a work-around. :S

into this one, which is correct.

(the quote is Parker's answer when asked to use the word horticulture during a game of Can-You-Give-Me-A-Sentence?, as quoted in You Might as well Live by John Keats (1970))

(And here I thought I was the first one to come up with that pun. Shoulda known better.)

"Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never--in nothing, great or ..."
Fixed.
Two points. Firstly, that quote was already on Goodreads:
http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/show/...
Secondly, every version was wrong.

the book:

and then merge it with this other version which already has the correct attribution:

AND THEN, probably, change the text to:
"Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time".
