Here's my recommendations, so far! All pictures of the books are at the bottom of the post.Contemporary Romance: Dance Upon the Air by Nora Roberts
Erotic Romance: Haven't read enough to know, but I can add one later!
Fantasy: The Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop
Historical Romance: Wideacre by Philippa Gregory
Paranormal: A Kiss of Shadows (Merry Gentry 1) by Laurell K. Hamilton
Romantic Suspense: Juliet by Anne Fortier
Science Fiction: Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Steampunk: The Parasol Protectorate Series (Soulless, Changeless, Blameless & Heartless) by Gail Carriger
Urban Fantasy: Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison
Western Romance: again, haven't read enough, but will add one.
Okay, I wasn't sure if you wanted more romance related books, so I went towards that spectrum since SM is a romance writer. Ender's Game isn't, but I love it. I may add some more later. Did you want our favorites in general or...? And if you want a sci-fi romance I'd go for The Host by Stephenie Meyer
And sorry I didn't do just one in the Steampunk, I just had to plug the whole series, since it gets better after the first one!
Updating the genres. I left a few out that others may want to add! If you see something I've missed, please let me know!

Hannah, if your just wanting to add the book or the author then look right above the comment box and you will see add book/author. Click that, then choose the book or author tab, select Link or Cover at the bottom then put your book or author in the search engine and when you see your book hit add. this will give you a direct link to the book even if you choose cover! If you already knew this then just ignore me!lol
