What the Dickens (see - a literary reference even though I'm beside myself) is going on here? Look at the state of this duck!!
Shhh, keep the noise down Phil! I'm trying to sleep! Anyway - I thought the duck liked chocolate.....

Gingerlily (mostly harmless) wrote: "No idea. We're all very grown-up and well behaved around her."Really? Must be a completely different set of people then, but oddly with the same names.

Well, I've had to post an apology on the Kindle forum for your behaviour. I hope you're all pleased with yourselves? [folds arms, taps foot]
Gingerlily (mostly harmless) wrote: "Why do I feel like sticking my tongue out at you?"Many do, GL, many do.
Patti (Totally Bananas) wrote: "I'm not giggling. Honest."I should hope not, young lady, there's been far too much frivolity on here for my liking! For your information, thanks to the antics of you and your 'friends' both of my books were in the charts last night. I hope you're satisfied?
Patti (Totally Bananas) wrote: "Oh crap.I'm sorry."
To be fair, they came straight back out again, but it's the principle of the thing ;-)

WARNING - CHEEKY REQUEST FOLLOWS:I know this is a bit of a cheek, but if anyone has read Crutches For Ducks, or is planning to, I really would be grateful for any and all reviews that you might be willing to contribute to the Amazon UK or .com sites. It's looking a bit unloved at the minute (altogether now...aahh, bless!)

Well, Arthur Worsley is hardly the name of a celebrity is it? You can't imagine anyone coming on Britain's Got Talent with that monicker can you? And, of course, the nature of his act was that he was completely self-effacing. At one point, the dummy said to him "What good are you, son?"
Ray Alan was technically brilliant but never made me laugh in the same way. Stanley Unwin was one of a grand line of great British eccentrics who made a living out of being himself really.
