What are some of the other items on that list :D?
Hmmm.... Cassie kicking Tony's ass, Cassie rescuing Pritkin from hell and him yelling at her for it, maybe a fight or some form of confrontation between Mircea and Pritkin, Cassie and Pritkin initiating even a kiss without it being a life or death situation (upon which all our heads will explode ;P), ummm.... god, I've forgotten the rest :O
And the one mentioned at the top of this page :D That about sums it up ^^!

I totally agree with you Somnium!! A prego Radella would be just plain scary! :P But I would love to see it!!!Man this book had so many possibilities its killing me!!! Karen has to throw in a character that would make Pritkin possessive!!! And maybe Mirece would go away!!!!
You forgot the strip poker scene where we all attack a very naked Pritkin! :P And the scene where Cassie and Dory meet and then they both kick Mircea's ass for keep them away from eachother! And the idea that Rosier grows old!!!
I am loving this list so much it feels like it's my freaking baby or somethingMircea should already make Pritkin possessive enough methinks (once he's released from the no-sex embargo of course) but I do really want him to go away from Cassie already, he's so manipulative. I often wonder if he's told us everything there is to know about that pesky little vampire claiming bite.... whenever I remember it's there, its permanent presence really irritates me >:( Like, surely there must be some way to get rid of it, surely?

Lol I have to agree with you Duca, all of our ideas really need to be in the next book, and if not then we really need someone who can write fan-fic to write it out!!! Honestly I think I would be kinda devastated if none of our scenes make it into the next book.And I'm loving the fact that I'm not the only one who dosen't really like Mircea. And I hope there is some way to get rid of the bite marks! Cassie belongs to Pritkin!!! I love that idea Ashleigh!!! It would convince Cassie that Mircea is no good!
How many more months do we have till number six is out?!
@ Naomi: aah, sorry, i knew there was so much i'd forgotten. perhaps we need to make an actual list and then tick off each scene when it happens in a book or fanfic ;Pand Mircea... sometimes I love him, sometimes he really annoys me. Overall, i prefer Pritkin for Cassie I think, but at times I like Mircea too. Just not as much. And yeah, the claim bite thing I find really annoying. And i'm positive there's more too it than Mircea's told Cassie about. It indicates as mcuh in HtM - "You're my wife, dulceata, of course we have a bond". I'm thinking maybe it lets him read her thoughts as well as sense her - there were plenty of times that seemed to happen but Cassie didn't notice.
Ok get started on it Somnium!! :PAnd we all know how well Cassie takes invasion of privacy. That would definitely put a damper on their relationship!!! I used to love Mireca, you know when Pritkin was trying to kill her, but I just can't get over how much he tries to control her. It's annoying. :/

im thinking your all right about this bond! it prob allows mircea to feel what cassie's feeling and prob tracks her aswel - it was prob ment for when your partner gets into trouble or hurt so you can find them but he already has a tracker on her and it wasnt much help in HtM.but im not sure about reading her thoughts - there is evidence that he might be able to and he can speak to her mind from a distance but if he could read her thoughts then wouldnt he already know about pritkin?? unless he cant read really private thoughts or something...

Nice ideas! I don't know, I'm guessing if this is true it doesn't work all the time or must work only to a limited degree. It's just that there are times when Mircea responds to things Cassie's thoughts as if she's said exactly that sentence out loud which makes me so sure he must be literally in her head. Of course, I could be totally wrong. But that's my current theory ;)

alrighty this is random...if cassie could ask pritkin and mircea anything (just one question each) and get a straight answer what would you want her to ask??
Hmmm that's true Ashleigh. I didn't think about that. Maybe he just knows her a little to well? Maybe it is just vague thoughts he can read. You guys don't think that he has some idea that something may have occured between them? I thought that he could only read her feelings though? Isn't that what the bond does?I would want Cassie to ask why does he love her? Or if he really means it...I mean he says he does, but it seems plausible that he could just being saying that to keep her under his thumb...
Pritkin is a little tougher....I think I would want Casie to ask him what its going to take, for him see himself as a human and not a monster. Cassie has told him that he's not a monster several times, but he won't get it.

but in saying that he doesnt know pritkin is a half incubus even though cassie has thought of it in front of mircea. but he does seem to have an idea that they have done something together or that maybe cassie is attracted to pritkin but mircea can prob smell that (like pheromones)

oooo thats a good one, i would like to know if he really love's her. i think that he has feelings for her but im not sure about love, and why would he?? like personally i think cassie kicks ass and is totally adorable but why would mircea think that? he's been with more attractive women with possible more power who might be more willing to do stuff for him that wont age so why choose cassie??
and for pritkin's questions it does make sense but im not sure pritkin will be able to answer the question. maybe cassie will do something to make him believe he's not a monster... like choosing him over mircea :P hehe

Ok, brace yourselves, I'm about to tell you A LOT of my thoughts on the subject of MMR (Mircea mind-reading) and love in our little triangle of feelings.~
You know, I often get the feeling that neither Cassie nor Mircea really, truly, love each other. Not to sound crude or anything, but Mircea seems more like Cassie's fun romp in the sack guy, and vice versa. I get the feeling that Cassie's love for him is stuck in the past and hasn't grown much since her childish adoration years, and since this is her first proper relationship she might be confused about what true love really is... and when I read the Dory books I get the sense that Mircea is still in love with his dead wife, which Cassie can't compete with. I mean, with all the loveless political relationships or sexual arm-candy Mircea has had over the centuries I don't think he's really ever emotionally moved on from his wife.... (look how quick Mircea was to have a more elegant model as a stand-in for Cassie at her coronation party!)and as for the mind-reading thing, I've noticed that too! There were some distinct moments in HtM that gave me pause. I don't think he should be able to do it long distance though, or he would definitely know more about Pritkin and Cassie's relationship. I think Mircea's mind-reading powers, if in existence, are restricted to short distance only and the only thoughts/feelings coming across the bond are those in the current moment, and since Cassie rarely thinks about Pritkin in Mircea's presence (especially not the way she thinks about him in private) it stands to reason that Mircea doesn't know the full extent of their relationship yet. I think if Mircea really knew about how deeply Cassie feels for Pritkin, he'd do a hell of a lot more than just keep Cassie locked up away from him (which will make Cassie book #6 interesting since the whole world has seen Cassie snogging the hell out of Pritkin. Or snogging him into hell *snicker*). I think what he's basing his suspicions on now however, are his knowledge of Pritkin's feelings for his Cassie, believing them to be one-sided with a small chance of reciprocation. I'm inclined to believe that Mircea can see Pritkin's feelings for Cassie better than he can see Cassie's for Pritkin, though I'm not sure why this is exactly, but I have a few theories. Maybe Pritkin is just more obvious with his emotions (remember Cassie grew up with vamps and her poker face is better than P's), or Mircea's many spies have built up a clear picture of Pritkin's attachment to her....
Anyway, those are my (long-winded XD)thoughts on the topics you guys have brought up, sorry I went on for so long!
yep, i think i agree with pretty much all of that, particually the bit about how Mircea it more aware for Pritkin's feelings for Cassie than hers for Pritkin's. God, i'm so looking forwards to the next book!the only thing i can think to add is, i'm not so sure about the short-distance-e-ness of Mircea's mind reading thing, as he seemed to be able to do it over the phone when they were talking just after the first time the Morrigan attacked Cassie, and he was in New York then. You know, the bit where he's all "I listen". lol ^_^
Oh yeah, god I completely forgot about that one. Yeah that was totally creepy XD There goes my short-distance theory... but at least it seems his mind-reading is still relegated to purely current thoughts and not deep delving of past thoughts.THE NEXT BOOK CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH (or a short story!!)

God if somebody finds out tell me ASAP!! I'm dying for that one to come out!! I like your theory Duca. Pritkin isn't really all that good with hiding his emotions, so you're right Mircea can is probalby basing it off of that. I can't wait to see what Mircea is going to do when he meets up with Cassie to talk about that kiss.
I also like the current thought theory too. That seems more plausible....but Cassie sometimes thinks about Pritkin so I'n not sure if that's entirely true.

He's a very busy little politician bee XD Look at all the Dory stuff he's had on his plate in the first two books. Maybe Cassie's been lucky so far and he hasn't popped in on her mind while having one of her rare Pritkin-rumination moments?
I thought of something else too, but I'll need some confirmation because my memory is dodgy. Has there ever been a time when Mircea was really worried about Cassie because he didn't know what she was doing, or thinking? Perhaps he can't do the mind-reading at will, but only when Cassie is 'projecting' particularly strongly and he is available for reception (and not busy)?

In CtD, the vamps (including Mircea) had no idea where Cassie was, after she got back to the hotel after the collapse of Magic. They only picked her up (with the tracer charm) when she left the hotel to get Pizza. Marco found her and handed her the phone with Mircea on the other end. Thats when he tells her Rafe was dying and she heads to the vamp infirmary in the lobby to find Rafe badly sunburned and near death. Mircea talks to Cassie in her mind and he tells her he will be there soon and there is perhaps something he can do for Rafe. He comes through the door a few moments later and talks to Rafe and then breaks Tony's bond with Rafe, thus saving him.
wow you guys have been busy, lol.in HtM cassie was thinking about pritkin being an incubus with mircea sitting right next to her but he didnt pick it up from her thoughts so im also thinking she must be projecting them so how.

OMG you know what scene i just thought of.. you know when cassie just got back from the past with mircea in HtM and billy-joe is annoyed at her for sleeping with sugger tits (hehe) and how he is saying the vampires are creepy and cassie is trying to say there not then marco pops his head in and starts talking about how cassie and mircea just did "it" and how she must be tired now and billy-joe is like "no not creepy at all" lmao man that made me crack up big time! :P
But the mind reading thing also came in HtM. Rigth after her death experience, she's on the phone with him. He said that he couldn't feel her,and that freaked him out. I think you guys are right about the storng projections. But I still think its more feelings. Because I know that when they were on the phone and Cassie was annoyed with him never listening and he says that he does, weren't they just talking about that?
Again Ashleigh I love your theory. Mircea is totally full of himself, and he probably does think that Cassie could never love another person like she does him.
Those two things sound great. Maybe Mircea will finally show how absolutely pissed her can get at Cassie. I mean she was competely naked when they made out. :P
I am praying that ther does come out in the next book. And if not Karen really does have to write that scene and post it. That would really sad if it doesn't come out.

you know, if for some horrible reason this series was cancelled and Karen stopped writing, I honestly think I would die of grief and despair *shudder*. and Naomi, were Cassie and Mircea talking about him not listening? I can't remember, but I thought Cassie was just thinking it... weren't they just talking about him not being able to feel her through the bond and it making him panic, and then Cassie just went off on one of her mental side tangents?

No that was in HtM. The phone scene. And I'm pretty sure that they were, but I could be wrong I haven't read it in a while.I too would die from the grief of it. Let's pray that she never does!!!

yes, indeed she did. twas most amusing :P Cassie is hilarious when she's high. i'm pretty sure one of my favourite lines in the entire book is "I thought there was a good chance the fridge was possessed. It was subtle about it, but I had its number. I knew its ways. Oh yes."

I couldn't stop laughing when I read that line. I loved that chapter!! I love how at the end the mage was thanking her for not killing him and he was kneeling, she thought that he was propsing and it freaked her out. Then she said she didn't want to date him and he thanked her for that too. Oh and when Pritkin was explaining about the drug, the vamps pointed out that he was going on a date and Pritkin was like "so?" Karen out did herself in this book. :D

the last 2 books were deff the funnyest - but there are some really great scene's from the first 3, i love this line :P

Ok, everyone seems to want Cassie with the mage...but what happens when she actually gets with the mage? Will the books become boring and mundane? Will we then wish she would dump the mage, or create some kind of drama? This reminds me of when everyone wanted Sookie to get with Eric, they did, and now it is just plain boring. I am all for Cassie and the mage "hooking up", create a little drama. But dumping Mircea for him??? Hmmm.... the vamp is very possessive, the mage is hot headed... i kind of like the triangle they have going on here. I mean don't get me wrong, when she decides to write the last book, I would very much like a resolution, one or the other, but for now, it is so much fun.

im pretty sure karen wont solve the whole love triangle until near the last book, plus pritkin could never be boring :P and maybe mircea could turn into a stalker - wouldnt that be interesting, lol.(highly doubt that would happen but its amusing to think so)
You are right Rosezetta, that would kinda ruin the drama, but I think we're all hoping for them to end up together in the end-end. And like Ashleigh said, Pritkin could never be boring.Stalker Mircea hmmm....it's kinda hard to picture that. I think it would be to easy for him, being a vampire and all. :P
can you imagine him hiding in some bushes with his head sticking out and leaves in his hair - hilarious!

We all know who we are cheering for Cassie to end up with, but who do you think she will choose? Based off of HtM, if the next book was the last book, and Chance said the triangle would be resolved, who do you think Cassie would choose? I love Pritkin to death, but I honestly think she would stay with Mircea.

Mircea is calm, most of the time. He's the opposite of Cassie. As much trouble as she manages to get into, she need some calmness in her life, lol.
