I'm about a third of the way through the book and I'll say that it is good Neal Stephenson so far. The co-author has added some elements I'm not sure of yet.

Probably will have it finished before the end of the weekend and be able to review and more completely comment!

Thanks! Appreciate the link to and the review. I've moved it closer to the top of the 'pile' of books. A few borrowed and a few necessary 'work' books are now the only ones ahead.

Every so often I get a book that I'm intending to read right away and then . . . well this one fell into that blackhole.

Happy New Year!!

My dad introduced me to that series. It's kinda sad he isn't here to read the new entries in the series.

Jennifer | 40 comments I am reading The Fold

message 1795: by Thomas (new)

Thomas Manning (tcmanning) | 3 comments I really enjoyed The Fold. I read it right after "14". If you are a Peter Clines fan you should enjoy the trip down the rabbit hole Alice.

message 1796: by Mike (new)

Mike Mullen | 3 comments Owing to a comedy of errors I have copies of the Doctor Who: The Pirate Planet and 'Doctor Who and the Krikkitmen by James Goss/Douglas Adams that I never intended to get and I'm reading Pirate Planet ATM. To Goss' credit he appears to have worked his efforts seamlessly into Douglas Adams material.

message 1797: by James (new)

James | 1 comments I just started reading The Complete Predator Omnibus. It collects the three novels based on the Dark Horse comic book series into one nice e-book :)

message 1799: by MadProfessah (new)

MadProfessah (madprofesssah) | 76 comments Hey Paul you are in for a treat! A NIGHT WITHOUT STARS and CHILDREN OF TIME are awesome 5-Star reads., IMHO. I wouldn’t include THE WINDUP GIRL in that company but agree it is thought-provoking and probably deserves it’s Hugo for Best Novel.
