I am about finished with Rejoice by Karen Kingsbury and may start on The Girl Who Played With Fire next. I saw the Dragon Tatoo movie this past weekend and thought it was excellent. It makes me want to continue on to the next book.
I finished reading We Bought a Zoo: The Amazing True Story of a Young Family, a Broken Down Zoo, and the 200 Wild Animals That Changed Their Lives Forever. It was an enjoyable read.
I'm almost finished with The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. I had no idea that it was a recent movie, so I'll probably be checking that out after I finish. I'm really enjoying this book so far!
Emilly R wrote: "I just finished reading "GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING"BY TRACY CHAVALIER , I truly enjoyed the story"I watched the movie version of this and it was beautiful and intriguing.
Just finished Hostile Witness by Rebecca Forrester. This was a good first read on my kindle fire. She kept you guessing to the very end. I'll be reading more of her books. I'm currently reading Deadly Night by Heather Graham.
I've read several - they are slow but the characters are well defined - and, of course, very English.

I read Christmas books all year long."I do the same thing! I just love Christmas stories.
I do too. The well written ones are cheery without being too sappy, and while there's conflict there's always an HEA. Sometimes, you need that.
I recently finished Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption by Laura Hillenbrand and now I'm reading The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver.
I just finished
, it was outstanding. I look forward to reading more books by the author.I am about to begin
.
I'm reading a book I've owned for forever-- I bought it in hardback when it first came out and never read it till now--which means I've literally boxed it up and moved it about 8 or 10 times..... Evenings With Cary Grant: Recollections in His Own Words and by Those Who Knew Him Best
.
Just finished Room By Emma Donoghue and Have You Seen Her By Karen Rose and now I'm starting Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts By Lucy Dillon
i have about 100 pages left in The Hunger Games. this is even better than thought it would be. hopefully i can finish it up tomorrow and get started on Catching Fire.
I am halfway through The Alchemyst and I am also reading Explosive Eighteen. And of course today the library e-mailed me that Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption is available for check out! Yikes! I might have to put the other two on hold while I read my library book.
Reading Stephen King's 11/22/63 & loving it! Haven't read anything by him for 20 years. Great writer & it's not horror.
I have finished
this morning and went on to keep reading
, which seems to be very good, maybe even one of my best reads! I guess it may even get a 5 stars rating from me. I like the feminst strong heroine concept thing.

."I've read Hotel du Lac which I can highly recommend. I'll have to add The Rules of Engagement to my wish list.
Finally getting around to Moneyball. I had a chance to be an extra in the movie, which would have been a big thrill since I'm an A's fan, but they cancelled filming for scenes in Phoenix.
As I just finished Christopher Pike's The Last Vampire I decided to start reading a book that I have heard recommended by a lot of people called The Hunger Games. So far I am really enjoying it. Hard to put it down actually. I keep wanting to know what is going to happen next. After I am finished my partner is actually going to read it as well cause I am enjoying it that much.

Just finished Fracture by Megan Miranda ~ http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/95... ~ Absolutely wonderful! I was totally taken by the story, it's depth and how well everything held together until the final page... immediately and truly impressed with Megan's writing style. Her storytelling and characters definitely put me in mind of Lauren Oliver's Before I Fall (HUGE compliment!) so I look forward to following this new author in the years ahead!
