message 352: by Janet C-B (new)

Janet C-B (goodreadscomjanbookfan) About 15 right now. 4 are library loans, a few freebies and inexpensive downloads and 1 that I paid full price for an upcoming Book Group Discussion. I try to keep it simple or it overwhelms me.

I also try to keep my general TBR at or below 100 for the same reason. Right now it is at 111.

message 353: by Annette (new)

Annette Pitré (annequiet) | 2 comments I have 10 full paid ones and about 34 free samples or free books. It's hard to stop adding!

message 354: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

message 355: by Kathy (new)

Kathy (kathyereads) | 4 comments About 450, mostly freebies. I keep all my books on my kindle until after I've read them.

message 356: by Ani (new)

Ani | 4 comments I have only 11 on my list. But my Kindle is quite new!!

message 357: by Darlene (new)

Darlene Jones (darlene_jones) | 55 comments About a dozen. I try not to load it up too much or I'll never get to them all.

message 361: by Maria (new)

Maria (thesnowqueen) I've got about 20, but those who reach a hundred or more — that's a lot!

Diamond (kindle lover) (quirkysecrets) | 15 comments Around 500 a bunch of series and freebies

message 363: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 27 comments Um lots, maybe 200. Some are going to be re-reads though as I am slowly replacing my normal books and some are history books so may be st on there for a while.

message 364: by Sadie (new)

Sadie Forsythe | 32 comments I'm pretty sure I'm over a thousand now. Granted some of them are kid's books and a few are manga, but without looking I know that there a over 900 in my basic TBR and then I have 6 other smaller lists of various sorts (review, shorts, kids, etc). I don't know when I'll read them all, but I can't seem to stop downloading them.

message 365: by Konnie (new)

Konnie (mrsnaz) I just switched from Nook to Kindle in November. I have thousands on my Nook, and on my Kindle I have close to 100. BUT, I have had the Kindle app on my phone for a while now too.

message 366: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) | 304 comments I have 15490 so far :D

message 367: by Lee Lee (new)

Lee Lee (leeleew) I have 48 on my goodreads tbr list. My goal this year is to read only what's on that list(not including future adds) and can't read anything else till I finish it. The only hard part is the complete wizard of oz is on that list and its 1700ish pages. I'm saving it for last.

message 368: by Sadie (new)

Sadie Forsythe | 32 comments Fiona (Titch) wrote: "I have 15490 so far :D"

I feel soooo much better now!

message 369: by Gerrie (new)

Gerrie | 4 comments I have between 500 and 600, mostly freebies (I compulsively check out the Kindle freebies every morning, and I can't stop myself from downloading when I see something that looks interesting). I've divided my books into collections so I can keep track of the genres. When I finish a book, I either archive it (if I really liked the book) or just delete it altogether if I didn't like it or it was just so-so. I'm trying to keep some control over my compulsive downloading (famous last words).

message 370: by Denise (new)

Denise (queenangel69) | 26 comments I'm in the same boat as Gerrie. So many books on my tbr list, yet, I am continuously adding to them.

message 371: by Sue (new)

Sue Pilski (bubbasbookmama) I have over 30 right now & I keep finding more freebies and books to buy!!!!

message 372: by Theweebarrell (new)

message 373: by Soad (new)

Soad (jumping_crickets) ha i beat all of you guys i have about 700+ books to read from my freebies alone.... I have a serious problem ( I have a library that consists of 3,000+ books I've collected over the years when it comes time to delete i just dont have the heart to)

message 374: by A.L. (new)

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 27 comments Hehe yes indeed.

message 375: by TheThirdLie (new)

TheThirdLie If I counted samples, the number would be too obscene to count.

For actual books I have bought and are ready to read... 21. Not too bad, but I too want to keep buying.

message 376: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) | 304 comments I have just down all my DTB list (consists of 5 bookcases and that is about 650 lol) and I have all my kindle reads (not downloaded any today).

message 377: by Pat (new)

Pat (pat_gee) | 14 comments I have only two books now that I haven't read and that's because I've been catching up over the holidays. I used to have a lot of print books but I've downsized from 13 bookcases to 4 (I moved twice!)I kept the classics and books by people I know.

message 378: by Vickie (new)

Vickie Britton | 84 comments I've lost count. I have downloaded a lot of pay books, free classics, plus countless samples. Does this thing fill up? I may have to archive soon. I put them all into categories except the four or five I'm currently reading.

message 379: by Collene (new)

Collene | 13 comments I can't count them anymore

message 380: by Shuddhanara (new)

message 381: by Adam (last edited Jan 17, 2013 02:20PM) (new)

Adam (adammoreno) | 4 comments Hi, my name is Adam and I'm an ebook hoarder.

I've got 405 categorized on my Kindle as TBR. I blame this on all of the cheap/free ebook threads on the various groups I subscribe to.

message 382: by Thea (new)

Thea Gency (theagency) | 5 comments 100. Is this common?

message 383: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie Ferrante (bonnieferrante) I've become a hoarder. I have to purge. It's bad. Really bad. Over a thousand I think. I think it's a hold over from not having the money to buy all the books I wanted as a child.

message 384: by Monica (new)

Monica (monicasofia) I'm 50ish... started this summer, didn't know how many cheap/free books were there! Downloaded some classic, samples and some I really bought! :P

message 385: by Velia (new)

Velia (veliaf) | 24 comments Whoa...I don't feel so bad having 160ish. I'm totally afraid to get to 200, but WoW 1000.

message 386: by Lori (new)

Lori King (lbking94) | 0 comments Wow, I didn't realize how normal I am. I have about 180 on my kindle that I haven't read, but I have really worked hard to not hoard even though the first email that I check each day is the kindle daily deal. When I first got my kindle, I spent more time looking for books than reading. That was quite addictive!!!!

message 387: by sonya (new)

sonya marie madden | 268 comments On GR I have 601 to be reads. Many of those willl be on my kindle or oon my computer with the kindle app

Kathy (kathyereads) | 4 comments Ack! I'm up to 460, darn one-click finger

message 391: by Monica (new)

Monica (monicasofia) up to 200 lol

message 392: by Eric (new)

Eric Westfall (eawestfall) | 105 comments 768 on the Kindle. Plus the hardcovers I've previously bought, e.g., the last 6 books of Jordan's Wheel of Time series, holding off on Weber's Safehold until the series ends and I have them all, plus I'm guessing another couple hundred hardcovers and a few dozen paperbacks.

This way, when the time comes I can't afford to buy books with this degree of regularity, I'll have plenty to read, before I start re-reading my way through my library (roughly 10,700 including the above).

Eric

message 397: by sonya (new)

sonya marie madden | 268 comments I have to get going on my tbr list, as in reading my books, but I do like talking about my books.

I wish I could get paid to review my own booka

message 399: by Velia (new)

message 400: by Terri (new)

Terri | 5 comments I have 10 books in my TBR collection on my Kindle Paperwhite, but altogether I have over 800 in the Kindle "cloud" that haven't been downloaded yet.
